ABANDONED. Trying to find the name of a book

So I read this book about 5 years ago in middle school. It was a fantasy and I remember it was about a girl who befriends these two brothers. One of them is named Simon and I think he was a wizard and the other was a werewolf but I can’t remember his name. I remember that they are looking for the brothers father but I forgot why. I also think that the three are being chased by a group of people and I’m pretty sure they were running from some type of group home or something like that??? I don’t remember the cover but I do know that it was a series of two or three books. I think the cover was like very colorful like magic but there were no people on it. I don’t remember the author or the main characters name.
