Yeah, I saw something about Icewings having different accents than other tribes, and Snowfall said Bosh and Rubbish at least once each word in the book. My parents watch the Great British Baking show, along with some other shows similar to it.

The same trait is seen in Anemone. The two families most likely had a marriage alliance and that is why Seawings have (well, had) animus magic.

you are wrong sequoia confirmed that hivewings and silkwings are decedents from clearsight but if you look at the templates you will see how my theory makes sense

I object! MudWings can hold their breath for an hour AND more of them live in swampy areas, so as a whole, it would be SeaWings, MudWings, THEN IceWings for top 3 tribe swimmers.

You'll have to re-read that. They are both descended from Beetlewings, but when Clearsight mated with one she started and entire tribe of Hybrids, the Hivewings. The Beetlewings split into the two tribes, the former becoming Shimmerwings (flibbergibbets/Silkwings) and the latter Hivewings. Silkwings are NOT descended from Clearsight otherwise they would be able to have black scales, which if im correct, they cant.

Icewings are slim and whip-thin so they would streamline through water much more easily than that of a Mudwing. They can't hold their breath for long though but in the short burst they could probably swim faster than a Mudwing.
My proof? Icewings hunt in the glaciers, for polar bears, fish, penguins etc.. Meaning they have to be like water-birds and be able to dive and catch their prey easily. So they would have to be good swimmers, or good divers at least.

Rainwings actually have decent nightvision, as they live in the darkness at night time.
Being an animus nightwing doesn't come from being a thrice-born dragonet, Darkstalker's powers are only super enhanced from that, the animus magic came from.. wherever it came from.

I think you got it wrong, Starflight said both sunny and tsunami could be queens of their own tribes, it never said they were related though.

While all dragons are very distantly related, that isn't what you meant. They aren't related whatsoever. They are like a family but only because they all hatched in the same clutch of eggs. Sunny is a tri-brid (Ice/Night/Sand), therefore not related to Tsunami, and Tsunami is a full-blooded Seawing.

The white, wingless dragon in Burn's tower might actually be a Silkwing dragonet.
Beetwings might be Rainwings.
There is a chance that before all the forests were burned on Pantala, Leafwings might have actually been different colors. Such as white and black like Birch Trees, or orange to match the Autumn.
The Old Nightwing kingdom is at the "foot" or Pyrrhia, opposite of the Icewings.
Rainwings used to be the most feared/dangerous of all tribes.
