If you all find a word that IS NOT on my answer sheet you will get extra points for finding it and reading for that word. So go crazy kids. If you ever need a new sheet for words, you can always press 'duplicate' on the last sheet on your team's SS and then just change the word number on that sheet to avoid confusion.

ok gang, I got started highlighting potential words. I am sure there are a lot more. Once my brain got stuck trying to find words that I thought should be in there (like horny, sex, and date night), my eyes started crossing and I was pretty much useless. "Husband" has got to be in there and I couldn't find it. I would think "flowers" would be there too, maybe "roses"? "Chinese new year"?

I also realized late that I had scrolled down and thus didn't see the top of the puzzle anymore - so there are probably words in there too.

Hey guys, I'm sorry I've been MIA but I'm back...just trying to catch up.

Looking at the SS, I see some words letters connected that as far as I know are not words. Examples: CRAGA is connected by the last A to the word AMETHYST. FEAROPE is made as one word and it's connected to GALANTINE so there is a PG. So are we able to make words that way in this crossword? Also, if we add new words to we each use a different color?

I added some words in bright fuchia, so please will someone look and see if I'm doing it correctly. On my way to my birthday dinner (my celebration has turned into 2 weeks) so I'll check later tonight. I love looking for words!

I have put some words that connect to other words, so if (for example) I needed an M to make sense I put it in my color on the other person's word; however, if I am supposed to leave their colors intact and leave the M (for example) in their color please let me know that too and I'll change those when I get home.

So each team has a giant word search, you all have to find the words and then read a book for each letter in said word. Unless a letter just happens to be in two words at the same time - then you only have to read a book one for those letters.

As for how your team wants to attack this word search.. no idea.

Exactly. It's not a word, so some of how the team has placed the words is confusing.

Lmao, I think it is supposed to be"crag". But since it is next to the "a" in another word, it looks like "craga" in the SS. So the question is can we use "crag" if it's touching another word like that.

I don't know if I explained myself correctly, but one question that this might clarify is this: if two words are butted against each other, juxtaposed side by side but the part where they are touching or crossing does not make a word, is that all right for this word search? This is one example the way it looks on the word search. It's in Row 31, Column AE-AR. Can we do that?

I lined the words up right but when I post it "GIRLFRIEND" moves all the way to the left. So "GIRLFRIEND" should be above the D.

I have a question. Say a word is 'start' can i use a letter from the title (book1), the author's first name (book 2), same author first name (a different book/book3), same author last name (different book/book 4).

So 4 different books

If I read all of that correctly, yes you can use 4 different books (if they are by the same author) for one word.

We can change this if you guys want, but for now I highlighted the K from Adrie's letter in red so that I could see which letter had been used on the spreadsheet. There weren't any words highlighted in red. That way we can easily see what other letters would work best to complete the next word.
