NetGalley - Requests and Read Now Advice
Oliver wrote: "Right now, reading Gangsta Granny Strikes Again (may be 12 but you're never old enough for some good old David Walliams) and I love it!"
If you're only twelve Oliver, you need to read this: https://www.goodreads.com/about/terms.... - scroll to #5.
And what you post needs to be relevant to the thread heading, and I don't think Gangsta Granny Strikes Again! is on NetGalley for request.

Helen I was finally approved for The Mademoiselle Alliance and I also deleted my request yesterday and have you heard anything?

i thought this was the 'what you're reading' thread, sorry"
If your parents manage this, I'd advise them of what I linked you.

Oh no that's makes me so mad and why would they decline you and I'm really sorry.

Plus there's no pressure to read it by a certain date Helen :)

No, still pending :(
I'm a bit hit and miss with Poisoned Pen so won't hold ..."

It is now not compatible with kobo! I'm so angry and disappointed. I just spent hundreds of dollars on a kobo (3 weeks ago!) because it was compatible with netgalley and now they suddenly do this. 😭😭😭
Contact them Meg. They say if you have any problems to be in touch. They would probably have a work around. Good luck!

I did. They said it's no longer compatible with kobo and just told me to read on my phone

Oh no! That's not particularly helpful Meg :(

The Stranger at the Table: The domestic noir hit of 2025. Poisonous lies, family secrets, addiction and revenge are all on the menu. For readers of Sally Hepworth, Jo Dixon and Ali Lowe by Cassie Hamer
and
Right Way Up by Fiona McCallum
I just got auto approved by Harlequin Australia - so mega excited about that...could be dangerous though - I already request too much :P

You're welcome Brenda! (I'm reading it this weekend)"
Goodness, quick off the mark!!

Just a warning for readers of Fiona McIntosh I just received an email inviting me to read
The Orphans, which was originally published in 2022. They don't have notification that it's a republication, and it's not showing on NG at the moment, when I browse. I don't want to click on their link as I'll go to the "read it now" part.
So basically, if you've read it already, don't get it, if you haven't it's a perfect opportunity to read an excellent historical. Storm Publishing is the publisher when it is posted for all :)
Here it is -
