Carolyn | 9836 comments Good luck everyone, I hope you're all approved too. It does sound interesting.

If you ever go to WA, the Maritime Museum in Fremantle has a really good exhibition on the Batavia including what's left of the wreck.

I didn't get any notification but just checked the book on NetGalley and if you you were approved for this title and have downloaded it, delete it from your device and download again, and you will have the full version of the book.

message 1308: by Sarah (last edited Mar 28, 2022 12:30PM) (new)

Sarah | 1543 comments I'm thrilled to have been approved for three new books this morning via NetGalley UK. Two are from series I'm already reading and really enjoy, the third just sounded intriguing...

Little Sister (Jonah Sheens #4) by Gytha Lodge (published 28 April 2022)

Countdown To A Killing by Tom Vaughan MacAulay (published 7 July 2022)

A Taste for Killing (Bradecote & Catchpoll #10) by Sarah Hawkswood (published 5 December 2022)

Would anyone else be interested in these titles?

message 1309: by Marianne (new)

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments I was rejected for the latest Elly Griffiths children's book A Girl Called Justice: The Spy at the Window, with this
"Thank you for your interest in reviewing a title from the Hachette Children’s Group. We are sorry we could not approve your request on this occasion; however, we would like to share an extract with you, which you can download using this link: https://www.hachette.co.uk/wp-content..."

bit bizarre, not even the same book...

Did you download it - is it the full book? I took a look and all I can find is an 'exclusive first chapter sampler'.

message 1338: by Janelle (new)

Janelle | 635 comments I just checked, Em-jay, you’re right it’s just a sampler. Sorry for not reading the fine print!
