But... you know... sometimes books just "fall" from the TBR shelf, probably trying to catch the attention of a potential reader. Those falls most of the time are fatal, and then there's not other thing to do but bury them in your READ shelf... You know... accidents happen...
Sometimes the dog eats them, or the baby uses them as teething rings, or it gets dropped in the toilet. There may be many ways of hiding the evidence.
