Update message 10I have just finished reading The Boys in the Boat. A wonderfully uplifting story of underdogs, so well researched. Well worth reading.
Sorry everyone for not updating earlier. I don't seem to be getting the GRs updates for this thread.Anyway I have added Dominique and Martine to the list.
Also congratulations to everyone else who are reading like absolute champions. Great effort.

I cannot express how much I loved Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything! I hope you know they also wrote SuperFreakonomics: Global Cooling, Patriotic Prostitutes And Why Suicide Bombers Should Buy Life Insurance ;-) It's as good as their first one.
I am currently reading Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies and I'm deeply enjoying it, I think you will too ^^
Good lecture!
I updated post 100; I finished Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies for the World History genre.

Natural History - The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival***
A solid and interesting read about the life and hardships of the Amura Tiger in Far Eastern Russia. I would defiantly recommend this book for those who needs this genre.

That is funny Jodi.
ReadMagical realism: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs
Young adult: The coldest girl in Coldtown - Holly Black
Post-apocalyptic: Breathe - Sarah Crossan
Reading
Social science fiction: Phoenix Rising (Ministry of peculiar occurrences) - Philippa Ballantine & Tee Morris
✔World History: L'arte della guerra (English: The Art of War)And with this I've finished Cassandra's Favourites!
I am now at 9/14.
I was a bit worried about finding a religion related book that I'd actually want to read but by a happy accident I noticed that The Wicked + The Divine, Vol. 1: The Faust Act is tagged as religion! So that plus The Paper Magician for Magical Realism, Mistborn: The Final Empire for Heroic Fantasy and Ms. Marvel, Vol. 2: Generation Why for YA puts me at 4/14.Edit: December and January have rolled into one and I've just realised I read the Wicked + the Divine last year so I'm actually at 3/14.
Can't wait for volume 2 to come out so I can have my religion book!
Marina wrote: "Just finished Can You Keep a Secret?, my book for Chick-Lit. This puts me at 10/14. Yay!"Well done Marina. What did you think of this book?
I really liked it, Zara. I think The Undomestic Goddess was better than this one, but I still enjoyed it a lot. Very funny and entertaining.

I plan to do this challenge. I have a question though. Can we use the books on our TBR as long as they fit the genre? Is there an easy way to see the genre for each of the books on our TBR?Let me know! And thanks!
