No we can't use images from amazon. Someone would own that image.

We need to follow copyright law.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. Can images from Wikipedia under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence be used on author profiles? What do you mean by fair use?

Goodreads is not set up to be able to comply with the requirements of a CC license. Author photos may only be added to Goodreads if they are in the public domain, or if you have the permission of the photo's copyright holder.
