Sorry, no SOLO this time challenge or even the March one.

Word Search Challenge:
Since we all loved the crossword challenge last February, I figured we should do another wordy reading challenge. Wait, is 'wordy' even a word? Or is it 'word-y'? Eh, let's just go with it!
Each word search will be jam-packed with mixed letters. Sometimes a word search will give you words to actually find and highlight the crap out of. However, I'm evil and decided to just mix and mingle all the letters until you find the words within it.
Now each board will have a certain amount of words for your team to find. Up to 100 words at least but the board could have more (I lost count while creating it!!). The words could be found vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. Some could even be upside down or going the opposite way. Just like any other word search out there.
However, this word search will be HUGE. So each team will only get one board to work with. This board will be revealed on the teams spreadsheet. You can highlight the words early on but can’t start posting for the letter/word until the challenge officially begins.
Spreadsheets will be given to the teams by January 30th.
This will be a team reading challenge, which will run from February 1st to February 29th. Winners will be announced on March 1st.
When signing up, please mention the number of books you plan on reading for the month of February. This number will be easier for me to make teams match up evenly.
For example,
**You will not be penalized if you go over or under your number**
The general challenge rules can be found here.
Page Points
1 - 99 pages → 0.5 pts (and it will only count for page points - not categories)
100 - 149 pages → 1 pt
150 - 249 pages → 2 pts
250 - 349 pages → 3 pts
350 - 449 pages → 4 pts
450 - 549 pages → 5 pts
550+ pages → 6 pts
Buddy Reads will DOUBLE your points.
BOTM will TRIPLE your points.
Challenge Rules
*Each team will be randomly assigned a word search.
*Teams will spell out the answers to these clues using the first letter of the book title, book series or the first initial of the author’s first or last name. You cannot use both the title and the author of the same book for two different letters. They will ONLY work for one letter. So choose wisely.
For example, there are many options for you to use books towards these letters:
Option 1: Titles only
L - P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern(L in Love)
O - The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate (O in One or O in Only)
V - A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi (V in Very)
E - Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (E in Eat)
Option 2: Series title only
L - Legendary by L.H. Nicole (series - Legendary Saga)
O -The Sexy One by Lauren Blakely (series - One Love)
V - The Awakening by L.J. Smith (series - The Vampire Diaries)
E - Graveyard by Ed Warren (series - Ed & Lorraine Warren)
Option 3: Author's first/last name initial
L - Night After Night by Lauren Blakely
O - Delirium by Lauren Oliver
V - Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
E - The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Option 4: A mixture of option 1-3
L - Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr (series - Wicked Lovely)
O - Stories I Only Tell My Friends by Rob Lowe
V - Victoria by Daisy Goodwin
E - Paper Princess by Erin Watt
*You can use any alternate edition for the letters.
For example,
L - Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal by J.K. Rowling
O - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
V - Harry Potter und der Gefangene von Askaban by J.K. Rowling
E - Harry Potter y el cáliz de fuego by J.K. Rowling
*Letters that are connected in two words, for example LOVE and FLOWERS could be connected by the letter L, will both be used by the same book. Here is a visual just in case:
So if you used the book, Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown for the letter L in FLOWER, then that same book would knock out the L in LOVE as well. So for those specific letters, you only need to read one book.
*Once the word search is complete, meaning every possible word was found and every letter has one book, then you will get 100 bonus points.
*If you are not sure about a word that you found, or have any other questions, you are more than welcome to ask a MOD for clarification.
We highly suggest that you do!
