"During the selection meetings, the committee discusses all nominated and suggested books before beginning balloting. Each committee member votes for three books, with four points assigned to first choice, three points to second choice, and two points to third choice."

http://www.ala.org/alsc/aboutalsc/als...

We will narrow our current list down to 5 books for our final voting.

Please list in order your three choices for the Caldecott award.

Your first pick will be awarded 4 points.
Your second choice will be awarded 3 points.
Your final selection will be awarded 2 points.

Points will not be given to any books mentioned past the third selection and only books from our voting list will be eligible.

What did you think of the results for this round?

message 35: by Beverly (new)

Beverly (bjbixlerhotmailcom) | 384 comments I'm not surprised that A Stone Sat Still was one of the favorites of several voters. It is a very worthy book.

message 36: by Linda (new)

Linda | 12 comments Kristen, do you have data of how many awards the group predicted correctly in years past? I’m just curious.
