This was a very emotional book and anybody that has had a friend or family member diagnosed with Alzheimer’s will agree. The story is about how a teenage boy deals with his grandfather’s disease. Jake moon is like any other teenager but he was put in a difficult spot when his grandfather, Skelly was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. During most the book Jake is embarrass by Skelly, and it almost he is a burden to him. Then one day Skelly goes missing and he realizes how important his grandpa is to him.
• Overall impression was that this book even though its sad teaches a great message and any one could learn from it. As I hinted towards earlier a person in my family had Alzheimer’s and when I read the book it was like I was seeing that family member again. The Author did a wonderful job I would strongly recommend this book
• This book did not have any pictures but it didn’t need any the Author paints a picture so vivid it can be seen from a mile away.
