So...since I nominated this I will post some thinking points:What did you think about the pacing of the story?
The protagonist, Inspector Drake, obviously has some OCD type disorder, did this "gimmick" work for you or was it overdone, not done enough?
Did the author develop a sense of place or could the story have been anywhere?
Does the partnership between Drake and Caren work for you as reader?
Did you like the book enough to read another?
