@Heather it's definitely worth a read!

Look forward to your thoughts when you read it Laura! Kayleigh also really enjoyed it.
Hoping to read the last one right when it comes out in June I believe

Are we going to buddy read book 3 when it's released? I am so excited for it.

I am STILL reading Crescent City. Only 200 pages left so hoping to finish it this week. *fingers crossed*

Eek how are you liking Crescent City Kay?
I am loving it... it's just taking me a while haha. I've got about 80 pages left so should be finished today. I'll be honest it's broke me a little bit. I sat crying this morning over it lol.

Oh dear! Hhaaha she does have a way of playing with our emotions!
It's one of the book that I've allowed myself to preorder. I only have 3 books on preorder this year.

And I liked some of her other books like The Coldest Girl in Coldtown and The Darkest Part of the Forest
That's too bad Laura! Curious what didn't work? I've only read Cruel Prince by her and thought it was okay.

Tithe was alright, but Valiant was honestly a mess. The characters had little development and no consistency and none of them were likeable, and the plot wasn’t really a plot it felt like a random sequence of events, none of which were properly explored.

Does that series get better? I was super frustrated reading book one. I remember the last quarter or so was significantly better than the rest though. Also yay for series finishing!

It definitely does! The second book was my favourite, but the third was also really good!
So glad you enjoyed it Laura. I haven't heard of that series but I'll definitely have to check it out.

Yes do! It’s feels quite unique and that’s part of why I like it so much. It’s a bit Fantasy/Horror vaguely inspired by some Slavic mythology!
Sounds amazing. I'll definitely have to look it up. I love books that are inspired by mythology.

Do ittt! Heheh I don’t read many classics but once in a while

Sure.. my tbr has room for more haha!

Thank you for the recommendation!

I definitely intend to. One of my alltime favourite books is a classic. I've read Wuthering Heights about 5 times.

There's Sweep with Me which I haven't been able to read yet and an untitled book 5 that will be out at some point. (view spoiler)

I just finished sweep with me - it was good but didn’t answer any of that! And book 5 is on goodreads but it says the authors haven’t confirmed that there will be a book five it’s just speculation!
I'm pretty sure they will write it, just might be a bit. They have to answer at least some of those questions! And I want more of the world and the inns.

Hopefully!

Also found out there will be a fourth Graveling book early next year and I'm excited for it!
Did you read the Glass books as well?
I finally ordered myself a copy of Shadow Study. I loved the original trilogy and enjoyed the Glass trilogy.
Yes I am super excited about the new Graceling book as well!
