This is the discussion thread for members who have completed the entire 2019 Reading Challenge by Dec. 31st, 2019, to work together to select our January 2020 Book of the Month.

Like all BotM selections the comic book (or manga) picked for this month must fit these requirements:

- Fits the month's theme
- Available in English
- Available digitally (legally)
- Available in print
- Is NOT an Omnibus or multi-volume collection

Let's try to have a book selected by January 12th!

Chad | 1394 comments I think I'll recommend Atomic Robo and Other Strangeness. This book is so much damn fun. It's the fourth volume in the series, but all of the stories are stand alone and self-contained. You don't need to have read anything else. Think Hellboy and the BPRD with super-science instead of the supernatural. The only thing you need to know is that Robo was created by Nikola Tesla in the 1920's. The whole series is available on Comixology Unlimited.

Thanks for the recommendation! Whether it's chosen or not, that looks like a fun read and I've added it to my Comixology wishlist.

Hey gang: I realize I lost track of this a bit - How would you feel about a random pick of the nominations here?

Or can we come to a consensus of what you'd all like to pick based on what was nominated?

Chad | 1394 comments Why not just let the group vote on the book from these nominations like normal?

I do think only three of the nominations came from people who finished the challenge.

Agreed, on both counts.
