I am currently re-reading Miss Peregrins Home for Peculiar Children series. I devoured the Throne of Glass series just last week lol. That was also a re-read because I had not read the last two books. I love that series. Really looking forward to reading Sarah J Maas new series Crescent City.

Currently reading GoT A Clash of Kings ( have been for a few weeks, long books take me ages to get through ) and A world of Secrets on my kindle
I'm currently reading Anxious People by Fredrik Backman. It's very different from the other books that I've read by him, but am enjoying it and have laughed out loud more than once.
I would love to recommend the Murder 101 series by Maggie Barbieri. I worked with her in college publishing in Northern NJ when she was an editor and and I was an editorial assistant. Super cute reads! Also, she loved my first name Gianna so much that she named a character after me, which I thought was fantastic. Wishing all my reading friends a happy and safe Thanksgiving!
I'm finishing up The Dutch House today. I really enjoyed this one so far. Can't wait to read the end. I am starting Unfaithful next. I hope to finish it in just a few days because I received an early copy and it publishes on the 24th.
I am also reading a couple of nonfiction books for #NonfictionNovember. I am reading The Upside of Stress and Don't Overthink It, which is a Goodreads Choice Awards nominee this year.
Slowly continuing my way through the Darkest Minds. I’ve also started Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke, it appears to have a fine balance of cosiness and mystery which I’m hoping will get me out of the reading slump I feel myself falling into
I finished a science fiction alien romantic suspense novella: Kadin by Mel Teshco. My 1.5 star review rounded up to 2 stars: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I’m currently reading Not Even Bones and so far it’s really good. Originally found this story through the Webcomic adaptation, which I do love, but the book is a bit more interesting. I feel like I’m learning more details about the world than in the comic.
Currently reading Something Wicked. I really enjoyed the first two books in the Death on Demand series (Death On Demand and Design For Murder). I would highly recommend both.
When Darwin Sailed the Sea: Uncover how Darwin's revolutionary ideas helped change the world by David Long is a great little book that should be in all school libraries. Attractive and informative, even for old folks like me. :)

I am one of the many who are enjoying Graham Brack's Christmas gift to readers of In Dulci Jubilo, a free, charming, short Christmas mystery for Master Mercurius to solve.

I just finished The Dutch House
and really enjoyed it. my reviewI am starting Unfaithful
for review and How to Bake the Perfect Pecan Pie
as a holiday read today.
Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari. I liked it more than I had expected, and I see why my library has such a long wait for a 6- year old title. My review - www.Goodreads.com/review/show/3626501629
I finished
Bitten #1 by Kelley Armstrong. It's not my usual UF in terms of species or main character, but it was good enough to proceed to the sequel. My review - www.Goodreads.com/review/show/3658341381
I finished Not Even Bones by Rebecca Schaeffer and gave it 4 stars. Now I’m starting I'll Be the One by Lyla Lee
I finished How to Bake the Perfect Pecan Pie. I was hoping for a cute Thanksgiving read, but was disappointed. I need to finish Unfaithful before starting something new. I am also still reading Don't Overthink It and The Upside of Stress.
Currently reading Legendborn by Tracy Deon. 58% into the book. Not what I expected but definitely a very interesting concept and enjoyable read. Can't wait to see how the story keeps unfolding.
Melissa wrote: "finally reading the hunger games. waaaay better than the movies! dunno why I waited so long!"How lucky for you to be reading them for the first time!! I must do a reread.
The Thursday Murder Club Finally got my review up for this excellent mystery 5 starshttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Author Catherine Ryan Hyde is a favourite of many readers for her hopeful, heartwarming books. Seven Perfect Things: A Novel is the first I've read, and it was a happy break between heavier reads.

Melissa wrote: "finally reading the hunger games. waaaay better than the movies! dunno why I waited so long!"I did the same thing recently. I love the movies, but the books are so much better.
I finished I'll Be the One by Lyla Lee and gave it five ⭐️‘S. Now I’m reading Music from Another World by Robin Talley
Stolen by Kelley Armstrong - #2 in the Otherworld series but can be read as a standalone. My review - www.Goodreads.com/review/show/3660061096
Partway through A Gentleman in Moscow and have yet to figure out why I am enjoying it as the narrative is very slow. But the prose is absolutely beautiful.
Reading the latest by Elena Ferrante, The Lying Life of Adults. I devoured the Neapolitan Quartet novels and I'm loving this one as well. But you really have to enjoy a lot of emotional anxiety, angst, and explosive anger--the hallmarks of her fiction. I find it satisfying, but it' s not for everyone.
I read the 4th book in Charlie Garratt's Inspector James Given series, Where Every Man, and I'm sure readers of the earlier books would like this one, where he is facing the fast-approaching Nazis in France in 1938.
3.5★ Link to my review of Where Every Man
I also read the 4th book in Graham Brack's delightful Master Mercurius mystery series. Mercurius is a 17th century Dutch minister/priest/university lecturer who has a talent for investigation. The Noose's Shadow is another entertaining adventure!
