Happy New Year.

Hi, thank you for your answer.
I've checked your editing website, and you are probably out of my current budget (which I've added above). Thank you, in any case!

Firstly, congratulations on writing your stories. Secondly, I'm a new editor to the mix and I would be more than happy to work on your book with you, and any others that might follow if you find you like my services! Please feel free to email me at charlottesquill@gmail.com and we can discuss rates etc! I also offer a free first chapter/4 page sample of my edits so you can see whether we would be a good fit!
edit: I didn't expect such huge feedback. For now applications are closed, while I take some time to check the samples. THANK YOU VERY MUCH to everyone who has applied. If I didn't answer yet, you may be in queue if I can't find the right one in the first round ;)
In 2019 I started to write erotica shorts (7500-10000 words, check my author page) which, to my utter surprise, received good-enough reviews. Sometimes, though, readers complained about lack of proof-reading.
I'm not a native English writer and even if I try to stick to UK English as much as I can, I do silly mistakes I miss to fix during my own editing phase, like lack of prepositions and typos (fill-feel, up-us, past-last,...)
I'm aware of the issues this causes in a reader and I'd love to find a way to improve my writing, fixing these errors.
I'm looking for someone to help me, maybe on a regular basis. My production is around 20-25000 words for month, usually, but I have 25 stories out there I'd love to slowly check and fix.
I'm NOT looking for a line/copy editor but more for a proofreader/beta reader to fix just those errors I mentioned above.
I don't want to change my style or the structure of my tales for now, even if I know they aren't the best (I don't have the budget for a full editing-cycle yet).
Anyone willing to help, for free or on a tight budget (between $0.0020 and $0.0030 per word )?
I can send a sample.
Thanks,
Loren
