A Perfect Christmas Gift (Kringle, Texas #1) by Lori Wilde A Perfect Christmas Gift on Kindle
A quick. clean, romantic novella. Evan is a corporate lawyer who has come to Kringle Texas with his boss Peter so Peter can make some amends to his hometown's people for some past naught decisions. Evan is use to big city life, so the quaint, celebration filled little town is something new to him. When he discovers a mama dog and her new puppies in a room of the place they rented, and the vet arrives dressed up as an elf, he is a bit skeptical of this place. But the more he talks and spends time wit Chloe, the more he begins to care about her and the little town. This was just the most delightful book to read. It was the best way to enter the holiday season. I would absolutely recommend this book to all.

His Christmas Wish (Mountain Rescue Romance, #1) by Melissa McClone His Christmas Wish by Melissa McClone on Kindle
This is a stand alone book. It begins with great sadness for many. Carly lost her fiancé the night before her wedding and her brother on Mount Hood by Hood Hamlet. Story picks up 6 years later when Carly comes home to help her former sister in law after she has a child with Heather's new husband and help take care of her brothers two children. Jake was Carly's brothers best friend. They all grew up together and worked in search and rescue for the mountain. Both Jake and Carly have dealt with the grief in their own ways. Jake has moved on way better than Carly and he wants her and the children to have the best Christmas. With all of the time the two are spending together, old feelings and sparks emerge. Jake was not one for making commitments and Carly can't afford to lose another person she loved. Do miracles happen? All the characters are well defined and well written in the story. This is such a fun, clean, emotional and romantic holiday story. It was a great start to my holiday season. I really enjoyed this book. I would definitely recommend this book.

The Sweetest Memory (Alaskan Hearts #4) by Melissa Storm The Sweetest Memory by Melissa Storm on Kindle
Book 4 in the series, but can be read as a stand alone book. Ellie was a modeling star and had a great career ahead of her. At least, if her mother had her way. Until a near fatal car crash left her with broken bones, cuts, scars and no memory of her past. Her parents, friends, life? Nothing! Her dad told her about Memory Loss Ranch in Alaska that deals primarily with people like her. Her mother is dead set against it and wants her daughter to see the best plastic surgeon and get on with her career. Not only having some reunion time with her dad, she can get some rest from her mother and heal. While she is at the ranch, she is drawn to the handsome ranch hand Landon and a very special horse named Penny. But Ellie keeps having dreams of running after a mystery man, never seeing his face. Is this a lost love from her past? Can she take a chance on someone like Landon when there might be a man she is devotedly in love with back home? This book was so great to read. One that was hard to put down and so emotional. Like you could almost feel and experience everything Ellie was enduring. That is excellent writing in my opinion. A clean romance book with many twists and turns. I just loved it. I would definitely recommend this book. I can't wait to read the others in the series.

Fortune and Glory (Stephanie Plum, #27) by Janet Evanovich Fortune and Glory by Janet Evanovich in Hard Cover
Twenty-Seventh book in series. Stephanie’s grandmother lost her husband of 45 minutes and has found keys to some sort of treasure of the crime bosses in Trenton. Grandma Mazure is certain it will be a huge treasure. Stephanie and Grandma are not the only two who want these keys. The other thugs involved in the LazyBoy's group will literally stop at nothing to get them and information of clues that she knows. Or that they think she knows. Ranger is keeping an eye out on them knowing how dangerous these men are. I missed more of Morelli. The book was good, but the series has lost its luster from the first few books. I no longer find myself laughing out loud anymore as the antics are pretty predictable. Stephanie's co-worker Lulu is still the most amusing part of the book. The things she does and says are just hilarious. There is a new character that was brought into the story line, Gabriela Rose. I really didn't like the way she was brought into the story and felt her more of a nuisance than a positive character. But, all in all, it was good read. Maybe it's time to have Stephanie get her life in order and move on and out of the series.

The Christmas Cowboy (Rodeo Romance, #1) by Shanna Hatfield The Christmas Cowboy by Shanna Hatfield on Kindle
Tate Morgan is a tough wild bronc rodeo rider who also runs the Morgan family ranch. He melts when he meets Kenzie Beckett at the airport, who is a corporate trainer for DEW. Kenzie is not interested in any cowboys after being burned by two herself. Tate is a real romantic for a tough cowboy and Kenzie can be softened by his charm. But Kenzie's jealousy and mistrust proves to be a real challenge for Tate. This book is full of clean, tender romance, laughter and putting the past behind. All of the characters are very enjoyable, strong and defined. This is a wonderful holiday romance novel. I would very much recommend it.

Snow & Mistletoe (A Cabin Christmas Romance #1) by Rie Anders Snow & Mistletoe Snow & Mistletoe by Rie Anders in PDF form
Cat has one of the worse days of her life and after a night of heavy drinking and calling an old girlfriend, she is given the chance to get away from it all to lick her wounds and heal. She is headed to a cabin at Lopez Island, in the San Juanen's. When she arrives late at the cabin, she is attacked by a man who she thinks is going to harm her. Kirin has no idea who she is and what she is doing there. There seems to be a mix up for both of them being there at the same time. It becomes a humorous, romantic story line. the characters are strong, well defined and very likable. The plot changes and the real truth comes out. A wonderful holiday romance novel. I took out one star from the review because I thought the very end of the book didn't make sense and left me hanging. But all in all, a delightful book. For adults only!

Madame's Christmas Marquis (His Majesty's Hounds) by Arietta Richmond Madame's Christmas Marquis by Arietta Richmond in PDF form
A lovely historical Christmas romance novella. Madame Beaumarais has walked away from the life she knew in France to be safe, and watched her husband Jacques, leave her behind to find and save his brother. Now, after 4 years, Collette is a very well known and sought after by the ton and elite, Modiste in London. At Christmas time every year, she remembers her dear Jacques and cries. Getting to the point that she feels she will never see him again. Jacques, the Marquis de Beaumarais's brother has died and now, after 4 years, he is free to find his jewel, Collette in London. This short story is so sweet and fun to read. Yes, it is predictable, but it was so fun getting there. I would definitely recommend this novella to all for a wonderful holiday read. 5 star review

Letters from Home by Regina Jeffers Letters from Home by Regina Jeffers in PDF form
Mrs. Faith Lamont was married 3 short weeks when her husband, Deorsa Lamont went off to fight and eventually killed at Quatre Bras. The same place Major Simon Lanford, the new Earl of Clarendon was at and injured. Faiths life with her husbands family has been a nightmare and she is now the companion to her first cousin, the overbearing, brash Claire DeLong. Meeting the new Earl at his home estate for a holiday party, Claire has her eyes set on Simon. Their family is in need of money and this would be her best way out of the situation. Simon is not looking for a countess and he certainly has no liking to Miss DeLong. Simon would never wed out of obligation. He wants a gentle, intelligent, compassionate woman as his mother was. Simon's aunt is a very controlling and demanding woman. Simon didn't like her before he left to fight, and he certainly doesn't now. He hopes to put her on the next carriage out after the holidays to make her son miserable. The attraction between Faith and Simon is quick and fierce. But Faith knows she isn't in the same class as the Earl. Can two hearts from two different worlds survive the insurmountable challenges to find a future together? This was a delightful short story with strong characters. A clean historical romance for the holidays.
