All you need to do is copy and paste the ISBN into the "add book/author" section and it'll come up :)

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments Well Erin Hortle's debut novel, The Octopus and I is a brilliant read: a bit quirky, at times funny and certainly thought-provoking. Now I need to check out these octopuses! Love the cover too.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments Having very much enjoyed Minnie Darke's second novel, The Lost Love Song, I was pleased to be able to read her first book, Star-crossed thanks to Wollongong City Libraries and BorrowBox. I really loved it 5 ★s worth and I'll comment on the audio version tomorrow.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments I really loved reading Minnie Darke's first novel, Star-crossed and thanks to Wollongong City Libraries and Bolinda I got to listen to the audio book, but sad to say the narrator lets the author down, with mispronunciations and poor pacing and emphasis. The audio version loses half a star in rating. I'm pleased to see that different narrators read The Lost Love Song

Temporarily reverted back to being a 10 year old, when horse books were all I wanted to read.

Carolyn | 9837 comments A few years ago I read An Ordinary Epidemic by Australian writer Amanda Hickie. It was about a family living in Sydney caught up in a pandemic.

The virus (called Mamba) was much more deadly than covid-19, killing everyone infected so that the city lost all services including media, power, water but a lot of it was spot on in terms of how we're handling the current pandemic.

I'm not suggesting you read it now and scare yourselves further but Amanda recently posted on her blog a chapter her publisher made her leave out about a trip to the supermarket, which is quite prophetic and we can all relate to now:
