This is a fantastic goal! Good luck, I can't wait to see all of the books moving from your TBR to read!

How organized you are Jan O’Cat! Even just organizing and counting the 90 tbr books is a great start! What fun! Good luck working through your TBR, can't wait to see what you read. Maybe you'll inspire me...
Love the idea I’ve saw this challenge in past in other groups they sometimes minus our certain words like A or The if title of books start with those. I’ve saw others do this with author of book and one other group of mine is doing name of character in book. Good luck look forward to see what you come up with.

I thought it would be better to have some organization rather than just reading all the easiest or all the series books or whatever. This will force me to broaden my efforts.
Love this idea!!! Hope you make some good progress! I’ll be working on the ever growing tbr as well!
Ooh, look. Progress! One down, 25 to go. This morning I started another, Color Me Murder from my TBR, hoping to squeeze it in before I read a Kindle book for my F2F book club next week.
Good for you Ms. O'Cat. Almost starting in alphabetical order and on an early roll! OMalleycat wrote: "Ooh, look. Progress! One down, 25 to go. This morning I started another, Color Me Murder from my TBR, hoping to squeeze it in before I read a Kindle book for my F2F book club next w..."
Ann wrote: "Good for you Ms. O'Cat. Almost starting in alphabetical order and on an early.."Hah, Ann, I so adore organization tools like alphabetization that I had to counsel sternly with myself before starting this challenge not to get nuts about trying to do it in alphabetical order. If for no other reason than because I have only one “Z” and it’s a long and dense nonfiction book that I don’t want to be frantically reading on December 31.
So having resolved to be loosey -goosey in my reading order and having finished “B,” this morning I pulled out a book at random and it was “C!” Hahahah!
Jan O'Cat: So good to know we won't have to wait until late December to find out the title of your one "Z" book...... it wouldn't drive me crazy with curiosity not knowing.... nope, I can wait...... Tapping my foot nervously.....

Heheh! I’ve got you right where I want you, Ann.
Jan O’Cat, off to calculate exactly the right time to unveil my “Z” book
Finished my “N” book which was good enough that I anticipate for my 2021 Determination List reading the next two books of the series to catch up.
Well that's thinking ahead, Jan O'Cat! I've had No Comfort for the Lost on my to read shelf for a while. Good to know you enjoyed it!

I have given up on good intentions. Mostly I will grab the next book that looks interesting, though occasionally I pay homage to the teetering pile of paperbacks I need to read down.

I had to inventory my print TBR to see if this plan would work and was surprised that it’s only 90-some books (my Kindle TBR is many hundreds). For the last 25 or so years I always had a TBR of around 200 books. I buy fewer paper-and-ink books nowadays, so have fewer waiting to be read. It just seems like more because I lost so much shelf space when I moved. Hopefully this year I’ll get it to a manageable number. And then start {sigh} working on my Kindle TBR.
