Gilgi by Irmgard Keun

It will also be my first book, I'll be reading for the challenge. It promises to be a good read."

Keun is one of my favorites! I hope you'll enjoy it.

Alwynne It is an excellent book, Christa Wolf is one of my favourite authors, I'm planning to read more of her work as part of my challenge.

I'm so pleased to see you enjoyed this amazing novel. Mann did a terrific job with all the characters making them interesting and their antics sometimes amusing throughout. The chapter entitled Snow was for me a highlight. I felt truly nervous for Hans Castorp.
Which Wolf will you now read? she interests me greatly and I'm not sure where to start.
