Time PeriodThe time period will be the same year as it is now but technology and clothing his much different. Technology is the same as it is now and clothing is like it was almost 100 years ago but some women of lower social standing are allowed to wear trousers rather than dresses.
Royal CouncilThe royal council were traditionally the advisors of the monarchs but since the Princess went missing they have been ruling the country and they don't want to give that up. Some members are of course corrupt and greedy for power and others are not. Was made up of the 12 families that ruled the dukedoms of Ilya but recently more seats have been added. Each member has a certain position on the council.
The positions are:
The Master of Law
The Master of Finance
The Master of Education
The Master of Defence
The Lord Chamberlin- The right hand man of the monarch, now the person who leads the council,
The Master of Media- yes all media is censored
The Master of Foreign Affairs
The Master of Health
The Master of Transport
The Master of Business
The Master of Environment
As well as other smaller positions

Westeros Academy or as the students call it WA is situated in a Alternate Earth in the country of Ilya. The academy accepts 150 students into year 1 each years as well as 3 or 4 transfer students from other countries. The school accepts students age 11-24 so from secondary school age to university age. Most students attend the school from age 11. The school offers plenty of clubs as well as a chance to try and win the throne of Ilya.
Ilya
Ilya is an old country that accepts the existence of magic. It has been ruled by many royal families but the most recent one is the Kensington's but their princesses went missing 16 years ago with no trace leaving the throne empty. The throne can only be claimed by someone who fits all the requirements they must be courageous, intelligent and kind which in all honesty can fit a lot of people but the throne only choses the most worthy. The throne of magic hasn't found anyone it finds worthy in the past 16 years and the lords of council are vying for power making it very dangerous for any young person trying to gain the throne.
Powers
In this universe 30% of the worlds population are born with magic powers. Each person is born with a natural affinity towards a type of magic and an element. When a magic user is born they are instinctively ocular users but as they get older some people lose that ability and have to channel their magic through vessels but that doesn't make them weaker despite what some supremacists may tell you.
