Trixie was responsible for Lincoln Barnes coming to Jo and Ken’s home and killing them (accidentally according to him). She kept her complicity secret. Your thoughts about her? Do you think Jo could have been so forgiving if she had lived? Was Aaron always going to kill her?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments I wasn't surprised at this twist. She was obviously feeling guilty about something and it was clear that she played a role somehow.

I think that in the moment and the circumstances, Jo's willingness to forgive made sense. She didn't want her sister to die even if she was angry with her.

Yes, Aaron viewed her the same way as he viewed Lincoln. That said, I was surprised that Trixie actually died.

Based on Aaron’s mission, Trixie was always going to die as retribution for her role in Jo’s family’s murder. He actually wanted to expose her to Jo, thinking Jo would be grateful to him.

I understood Jo forgiving Trixie in that moment given that she knew Aaron was going to kill her. I just wonder if she’d been able to forgive Trixie if she’d discovered her role outside of this situation. I think it would have been tough. But, Trixie paid the ultimate price for her duplicity.

I was surprised that Trixie chose Lincoln over her child. That told me just how damaged she really was.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I knew Trixie was dead meat from early on in the story. This gave Jo a new family with her gone, plot wise. I was sorry when it actually happened. I don't know if Jo could have really forgiven her if Trixie had lived. Aaron was always going to kill her after exposing her to Jo.

I thought it was just me but I felt Trixie wasn’t going to make it as soon as she came on the scene and her bad disposition showed up. Maybe Brennan designed her that way, knowing she’d die in the end.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments I was still surprised she actually died. It’s like Brennan was punishing her for her betrayal.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I do think that Trixie was on Aaron's kill list from the beginning. She was the main reason Jo's family was dead and he was determined to right that wrong. Jo's seemed like a reasonable person and I think she would have forgiven Trixie (with time).

I think you’re on to something, Melissa.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I think Jo would have forgiven Trixie at some point. Maybe not right away though. Jo was always on Aaron's hit list since he was trying to convince Jo that he was taking out everyone that had done her wrong.

I was surprised that Trixie died at the time. Later, I realized that it had to happen that way.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments As Aaron kept badgering Trixie instead of getting on with the group's escape, I figured that he knew some really bad things about her. He thought he would justify Jo's separation from her sister as more painless with his killing mission. Still a very creepy scene.

It was creepy and chilling.
