Maxi challenges are intended to inspire you with a variety of ways to meet your reading goals throughout the year.

*Some challenges last all year. These can be joined at any time and completed more than once.

*Some challenges are only available for a limited time. This will be stated in the description.

How to Join

*Simply state your goal in the challenge thread. There are levels for everyone, whatever your time commitment.

*You can use the same book across multiple challenges.

*Remember to come back to let us know how you're doing throughout the year.

*We also recommend using the Personal Thread Folder to track all of your challenges in one place.

The Anti-Alphabet Challenge? Both for titles and authors?

Nancy, we will be keeping the Alphabet and Anti Alphabet challenges (I'll post later today). That is an interesting idea to do it by authors names as well as titles.

I actually did it with both titles and authors this year, finishing up the third time with authors on the anti-alphabet just last week.

Sorry to be "that person" but I was just curious as to whether we were still doing Maxi Challenges in 2021 as well, I fully understand that people are busy and that these times are precarious at best and I don't want to be seen as putting pressure on anybody, but I was just generally curious and if they don't happen that is perfectly understandable, I was planning on doing them anyway, thanks in advance.

Beth, we have changed our format for maxi challenges in 2021. You can still do any of the challenges by posting them in your personal reading thread. This applies to all the challenges-just pick and choose from previous years.

I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for asking, Beth, and thanks Rosemarie for answering. I may just continue using the templates for 2020, either clearing out the previous year's reading OR just continuing those threads.
