Outbreak! The Encyclopedia of Extraordinary Social Behavior by Hilary Evans

A mammoth opus, but something You should read like a, well, encyclopedia, and not like a pleasure read.

message 873: by Char (new)

Char | 17457 comments I'm reading Red Hands by Christopher Golden which is the third in a series, (but they can all be read as stand-alones.) The first book was Ararat (Ben Walker, #1) by Christopher Golden which I LOVED.

I'm also reading Midnight in the Pentagram by Kenneth W. Cain , our author invited read.

Tonight, I'm starting Tomie by Junji Ito which is only my second manga ever. (The first being UZUMAKI which was fanfreakingtastic!)

Lastly, I'm listening to A Promised Land by Barack Obama written and narrated by Barack Obama.

I'm glad you mention her, because I've been rediscovering my love for this woman and her writing. I had read The Lottery and We Have Always Lived in the Castle some time ago, and just finished Haunting of Hill House recently. I'm now halfway through Let Me Tell You, which I absolutely recommend if you enjoy The Lottery!
