Is Apple being selfish about Raven not sigining the book?

Is she being selfish? yes. But not in a mean, spiteful way. She simply can't understand Raven's POV. But look to what lengths she goes through to help Raven get the answers she is looking for! She clearly cares about Raven, not just herself.
I think she's basically a "good" character who is going to have to continue her journey with Raven till either Raven decides she's evil or Apple realizes that good and evil is ultimately a choice.

I am really enjoying these books because they go beyond the superficial tropes of the cartoon and really build the characters, giving them dimension and depth.
It's nice to be able to talk about them with people!

I understand how Ravens feeling, nobody likes being evil! I wouldn't! Tell me if I'm right!

Apple when she fell down the well she thought she would die she wants to be in the comfort of her own story rather than try something that might end differently she also feels insecure being a blonde and having glasses. And did u see her mum she was very pressured by her which also explains alot.
That concludes a few reasons I don't think she is selfish!😁
You have to understand her point of view. She lives in a world where everything about everyone’s lives is mapped out. They know nothing of choice, they haven’t experienced it for the most part. She doesn’t know anything else and choice seems scary to her. Why face the unknown when you can have a life you know will end happily? They were raised to believe that if they didn’t follow in their parents footsteps they would cease to exist, a fate worse than death. At least many people can look forward to some form of an afterlife with loved ones, not if you’re completely gone, no thought, absolutely nothing left. That’s a really scary thing and Grimm has the entire land of everafter fooled into believing it so that he has control over everything and everyone. Even once Raven debunks that theory by ripping out her page and refusing to sign, Apple is still in fear of it happening along with many others and she does everything she can to change the rebels minds. I can’t fault her for that one bit, I may relate to Raven but I admire Apple greatly. She’s far from selfish.

I think Apple is being selfish. She could still have a happly ever after without someone poisining her.
I don't think raven is being selfish at all. She just wants to create her own story where she can be the person she wants to be.
