Family obligations, being in noisier surroundings at my dad's house compared to my home.
What has been your favorite part so far?
I like the daily games. I've also been making some reading progress.
What is your favorite read so far?
Breakfast at Tiffany's - the main story plus the 3 short stories were great.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
Finished Breakfast at Tiffany's and A Philosophy of Walking
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Hoping to finish three books I'm in the middle of: I'm Judging You: The Do-Better Manual, Aurora, and The Night Tiger. Realistically I may only finish 2 by Sunday due to traveling.
If you're playing along with a team, how has that changed your read-a-thon?
N/A

With family in town, I haven't been able to read as much as I'd like. I keep sneaking away to get a few pages in :D
What has been your favorite part so far?
I've been a lot more decisive with the books I've selected since there is a time limit.
What is your favorite read so far?
Bridget Jones's Diary
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I've read ~600pgs which I really surprised by!
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
If I could get over 1000pgs read that would be incredible/unbelievable.
If you're playing along with a team, how has that changed your read-a-thon?
I've read roughly the same amount as usual but have recorded and paid more attention to the volume, which makes me pretty proud! This is the end of my first year as a "reader" - which I definitely consider myself now after seeing how much I can actually read in a day/week/month/year!

What has been your favorite part so far? Just reading.
What is your favorite read so far? I have only finished one book so....How to Make an American Quilt
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon? Completed one and another that wasn't long enough but I didn't realize it until finished.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon? Finish 1 or 2 more
If you're playing along with a team, how has that changed your read-a-thon? Reading more.
What challenges and distractions have you faced?
My Family, Ugh, LOL :) :) I'd have so much time to read, if they weren't underfoot lol. Love them to pieces, but gosh are they time consuming!
What has been your favorite part so far?
Team play-plugging in my books into the spreadsheet etc.
What is your favorite read so far?
I'm really enjoying my current read, Sandman Slim and then I really liked A Share in Death
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
3 books, with a 4th in progress, that pace is insane for me! I've been a much slower reader the past few years, but the read-a-thon has reminded me of how I used to read, back in the day, before I let other things creep in/reading took a back burner in my life.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Finish my current, 4th book, and ~maybe~ read a 5th???
If you're playing along with a team, how has that changed your read-a-thon?
This is my first read-a-thon in years, and my first one ever as part of a team. LOVE being part of a team, really has pushed me to read more and keep at it!

The holiday happenings!
What has been your favorite part so far?
Reading and working on a team.
What is your favorite read so far?
Normal People - Sally Rooney
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I've read 6 books but one was less than 200 pages and two were quick graphic novels. And I was a third of the way into Envious Casca.
The Dutch House - Ann Patchett (audio)
Margaret the First - Danielle Dutton (book)
Normal People - Sally Rooney (audio)
Envious Casca - Georgette Heyer (book)
This Land is My Land: A Graphic History of Big Dreams, Micronations, and Other Self-Made States - Andy Warner (graphic novel)
This Woman's Work - Julie Delporte (graphic novel)
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Finish Pictures from Italy and My Queen, My Mother: A Living Novena.
If you're playing along with a team, how has that changed your read-a-thon?
I deliberately read a few shorter books (150-200 pages) so I can get through them faster and help out Team Twinkle Lights.

A very irritating cold/congestion that I can't seem to shake off! I've also had a busy few days, and have a busy weekend ahead so hopefully I will have at least some time to read.
What has been your favorite part so far?
Making good progress on my reading challenges
What is your favorite read so far?
I think my current read, Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore. I haven't quite finished it yet, but it's the best so far.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I've read 6 (soon to be 7) books, including 3 graphic novels.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Squeeze in as much reading as I can, and hopefully finish at least one more book after my current read
If you're playing along with a team, how has that changed your read-a-thon?
I always find it a bit tricky to keep up with the team, but I find this challenge generally much easier to manage and less stressful than past team challenges. In the past I've felt that the entire game was moving ahead without me (ie. while I was at work), but this time I actually feel like I can contribute.
