(view spoiler)[ I can tell it was difficult for Grey to not intervene with Riley. Like it goes against everything about him. Not just being a guard, but just a good person who doesn't want to see innocent people get hurt no matter what he says about orders.
I don't like him and Jodi. I still think he and Harper have much better chemistry than they do as well as Rhen and Harper. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Tycho and Grey are bromance goals. I love that Tycho is sort of the little brother of the duo. I'm not so sure, even after finishing about Grey and Lia. I just don't feel anything from them. I love that the town basically turned on Rhen's soldiers. It really showed that he has lost control, instead of just hearing about it. The people obviously don't trust Rhen anymore and they haven't even heard about the big lie about Disi. (hide spoiler)]

I loved her because she was so sweet, but I don't think I could read a story just from her POV or her as the lead. Really interested to see how this new deal with Lilith works out? - Yeah Lia Mara's pov on it's own woudn't have kept me intrigued either but I think she's evolved quite a bit from the beginning of the book till now.
- The ending made me really like Lia so I'm hoping we get more of her braver and smarter side in the next book.
- I was surprised about Lilith already threatening Rhen but not that she survived 'cause Grey never got to see the body nor did he gain all her powers like she did of the others... (hide spoiler)]
