I felt the ending was a bit anti-climatic especially how all the other books have ended. I was expecting the battle to be bigger and more gruesome. (hide spoiler)]

I don't know why I'm struggling with this one. I was and am so excited for the conclusion and yet I keep putting my audiobooks ahead of this one. At least made some progress lol

This is exactly what she feared Dan feeling towards her and instead it's Eli. I'm so heartbroken still over his characters evolution. The author made me love him and root for him and now she's taking him away again :( lol (hide spoiler)]

I'm glad that Kane came but omg if Silas does not stop threatening Benny, I'm going to scream. On that note, I can't be happier that Benny is OK, he was not injured. Especially now with all her powers she needs to discover who she is. I'm broken though now to think the continuing series will be her without Dan or the Malones. Sure she'll talk to Dan and stuff but I'm so used to him being her person it'll be weird to only have him pop in via phone and Skype calls. But yeah Eli thinking the worst of her is just not ok and I'm sad yet again because I was still hoping for him :( But she's making the right choice for her and not anyone else! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Holy shit! What an ending, this was flippin' nuts. I'm devastated over Eli but since that story line was introduced I had a bad feeling this is how it would end. Damn if this story wasn't super emotional. I'm hoping we hear more about what Mary went through, a whole year she spent with that evil man. Yuck.... Glad he's gone. Also glad her soul while broken was fixed and now she silenced her powers. It's about time, I just hope she gets the break she deserves. Since losing her foster sister to that psycho, her life has been a non-stop mess and even in this book she can't even get five minutes of sleep. So excited where the other series goes...... (hide spoiler)]

And I lied, I absolutely want to read that novella of Silas. I mean and we find out he cried. Ugh I can't handle it.....
