Audiobook

I finished The Immortalists and I would give it about 3.5 stars. Not as great I had hoped, but I will have interesting conversations about it.

5 audiobooks and 3 physical books.
I recently read The Library of Lost and Found by Phaedra Patrick. It was her most recent book written and it was an enjoyable read while I was on vacation. I would give it 4/5 stars.
I listened to The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See and wow what a powerful book! She has a way of getting me lost in the culture I knew nothing about before. I was along for the journey of one woman through her struggles, loves and losses and confronting the outside world from her small village growing up. I really went on a journey with her, her daughter and the rest of their family. Definitely a 5 star book for me!

I finished reading Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls (with my family)
I finished The Magic Hour by Kristin Hannah
I finished Color Me In by Natasha Díaz (which I had mixed feelings about and wish I read the physical book instead of listened to this one because the pronunciation of the Hebrew and Yiddish were laughably awful)
I crushed my January marathon goal of 8 books
I didn’t quite make my January sight reading goal (the book I am reading to complete is still not finished)
I am now reading The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek with my February TBR twin!
I am also reading my January BOTM member fave pick of The Last Time I Lied to mix it up and reading a thriller.

Completed: The Last Time I Lied and The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek which I really enjoyed both books.
I also read Under Currents which was a super quick read via audible that I have had for at least a year in my library and I liked much more than I thought I would.

I read:
Buried Deep
The Mystwick School of Musicraft
The Newcomer
The Hero
Harley Merlin and the Mortal Pact
Maybe in Another Life
American Dirt
The Midwife's Confession
Little Fires Everywhere
The Color of Water: A Black Man's Tribute to His White Mother
Many of these were audiobooks because I have been slower at reading physical books lately. My favorites of these books were Little Fires Everywhere, American Dirt and surprisingly The Mystwick School of Musicraft (read with my daughter).
Currently reading Where the Forest Meets the Stars and trying to decide what to read with my TBR twin for March.
