Victoria Edwards I absolutely loved Reth but Jack came in second and Lend isn't someone who'd pick at all.

Tasha I absolutely despised Jack's character. Even in the end, when he showed a bit of remorse, I still couldn't like his character. At all.

Reth was just creepy. The guy didn't love Evie, he didn't even really like her. He was just obsessed with her.

I was really glad that she ended up with Lend. He was the most likable out of all the male characters in this book. In my opinion, that is :)

Victoria Edwards I had to rewrite this because my cellphone froze. It's been a while since I've read this series so I'm rusty. I didn't understand Reth's relationship with Evie but I didn't see him as obsessed. I felt bad for him. I wanted him to be happy. He truly believed that he loved Evie and he acted accordingly. Yeah, he did some things that were questionable but aren't almost all fairies messed up in the head? Jack made me laugh and I can kind of see where he's coming from so I'm undecided with him. I still want to like him though. I just thought of Lend as bland and unnecessary. I really don't have much to say about him because there's not much to him

Shruthi In my opinion, I would have to say Lend. It was a bit tricky to choose simply because I felt that Reth was too obsessed with Evie even though he says that he loves her, he does not truly mean it. Reth only wanted to keep not entirely love her for who she is. Whereas, Jack on the other hand, to me was more a close friend to Evie. He never seemed to be that type of guy that could be in a relationship with Evie. The connection that they both had in my opinion seems to be no more than friends and even if they were in a relationship I couldn't really see it going for a long term as Evie and Jack do tend to get themselves caught up in a argument pretty easily and if it is a big one then Evie takes a while to forgive him.

Victoria Edwards Maybe I should re-read the series, because a lot of people are saying that Reth was obsessed with Evie, when I didn't really see that. Jack was funny, and I forgave him for the most part after he tried to redeem himself. He was messed up in the head because of the fairies, so I can't be too hard on him for wanting revenge. It was his methods and his acts of vengeance that were brutal. If I remember correctly, Evie's twin (I forgot her name) could be put in the same category as Jack.

Shruthi Evie was perfect with Lend they were ment for each other I did not like Reth and I don't think that Reth should be with Evie.

Victoria Edwards Sorry for the late response. I just found Lend to be a plain stereotype. He wasn't realistic. He was too perfect. The series could have gone on without him and replaced his role with someone else and still been good. The romance was lacking. It was too simple and fluffy, because of Lend's lack of a believable personality. I know that it's fiction, and that these characters don't exist, but all the characters should have been relatable or at least interesting enough to make the readers care about them, whether the readers love them or hate them or love to hate them or hate to love them. Lend made me feel nothing. That all was my opinion and my experience though. I'm not trying to change yours.

Silivia De Lend is just another stereotypical boyfriend. Reth was the stereotypical stalker. Although this was a lot like Jack, he was never a stereotype nor a weak male. So, I think Jack was okay

Silivia De Reth is just eww and creepy. Even if she ends up with him, it would be from force or paedophilia
Lend also is an eerie character, only having water as his 'original self' but overall it's an okay person :)

Bookiemonster Is that even a question? I loved Lend, not only because he was a shapeshifter. But come on, who doesn't love a shapeshifter? I loved the fact that he was that sorta funny guy and later on he introduced her to a world that she barely knew.

Tara Reth dur!!!
my friend and I have been having this debate so I can back him up...
1. first book: Reth did not kidnap her he took her away from Vivian so she did not get hurt
2. first book: Reth did not just bluntly hurt her but did what he thought was best for her
3. 2nd book: when Reth asked evie if lend would do whatever is in her best interest even in her best interest even if it hurt her and she did not say yes
4. Reth redeemed himself after that in the third book for sure
5. he took a fricken faery blast to save Evie and nearly died
6. Reth A. never broke into the center and B. did not ditch her in the fairy paths (though I forgive jack for that)
7. He saved Lends life in endlessly to make her happy
8. He has a charm that he could have any girl yet he chose Evie
9. He has a bad boy rep at firs but seems sincere towards the end
10. Reth is also a seelie faery so they are not near as bad as unseelie
Bonus: He is so hot and sexy

Tara and who does not love a bad boy or bad faery

Jayden Smith Good I was beginning to worry that me and my sister were the only ones who liked Reth or even thought it a possibility!

Shruthi I think Evie should end up with Lend they are
perfect for each other. I like Reth in certain parts of the series, was a good guy but many other times he proved himself not so much as a good guy more like a completely bad guy who would go anything to get what he wants.
