For February let's read a Modern Weird work (published 1990 or later). I'm keeping nominations open from now through January 15. As always, feel free to nominate a book now and change your choice later if you find another book later you'd prefer.

   Thanks for the nomination, Scott.
Thanks for the nomination, Scott. If anyone is looking for some really good, very modern Weird books to choose from, I found a recent, excellent, 10-best list for books published last year: https://silentmotorist.media/2019/12/...
We have two nominations for Modern Weird (1990 or later) so far. There are three more days until I close the nominations and run the poll. So if there's a good modern weird you think the group would enjoy more than the two nominees so far you still have time.

I am taking advantage of the ability to change my mind regarding nominations and selecting The Prisoner Of Carcosa & More Tales Of The Bizarre, which was published this year--three days ago in fact. Full disclosure: although neither of the authors of this story collection is a member of this group, Mark McLaughlin is a Goodreads friend of mine, as well as at least three other members here.
