Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore - I thought this was a really creative book that starts with this 17 year old girl in a band trying to decide to tour with her band (& boyfriend) or go to Europe with her friend. Next thing, she wakes up and is 53 years old. Each year on New Years Eve, she time jumps to a different year in her life, out of order. I would call it sci fi light. **** 8/12/2020
217.
Mrs. de Winter by Susan Hill - I did not hate this as much as many readers of this sequel did and I will tell you why. The original book Rebecca was written in kind of a dreamy manner. I felt like this author wrote the sequel in the same way. It was a slow paced book taking place mostly in the narrator's head, like Rebecca. There is one thing that happened that I might have taken issue with (but didn't) b/c it kind of fit. So no biggie. **** 8/13/2020
