I finished Forbidden by Lauren Smith, Her British Stepbrother #1, and it isn't my cuppa but it's got a 3-book story arc. On the fence about continuing, leaning to finishing. Here's my review.

I'm now reading The Calendar of New Beginnings by Ava Miles, Dare Valley #9.

I'm reading Harry Bosch #2, The Black Ice and listening to Blood Defense on audio (just about finished with it).

I fibbed. Squeezed the next book in, Seduction by Lauren Smith and it was a bit better than the first. Here's my review.

I am reading Smokey Barrett Series #4 and this one is just crazy crazy stuff! Way too intense. Gives you the goosebumps but I am loving it. Had to come up for air since this is a buddy read.

I am loving #4 but #3 was way too crazy for me. I was so mad at the book I only gave it 2 stars. #1 and #2 were 5 stars and so far #4 is 5 star.

:-) I'm at 36% and totally get what you mean. The mystery is quite intriguing for sure.. I'm not very knowledgeable concerning Napoleon so the politics can be a bit confusing for me, but I am loving it so far for sure!

There's been a long wait list at my library too... It's how I ended up getting ahead because I've been on a wait list forever. I need to get on the wait list for the next two.

This week I read Love With a Scandalous Lord by Lorraine Heath. I was bored with the first half of the book. It was probably just me since there are several glowing reviews for this book. The second half was a lot better.

I've been out of town but still reading! I finished listening to Breaking Point, I-Team #5, and The Last Mile, Amos Decker #2 and loved both of them. I also finished reading The Calendar of New Beginnings, Dare Valley #9 and really enjoyed it.
