Thanks! I actually started the series in September... reading a book a month, but it's gotten so good that I'm read 2 or more a month now. I'm also going to start Mickey Haller since they intersect.

Ditto. I love her Charley Davidson work

Absolutely, let's coordinate so we can meet up. Guess what? I'm going to be interviewing Darynda Jones at RT for a podcast!!!!
I'm rolling merrily along in my reading with Harry Dresden, my new best bud. I just finished
. Every time I think I'm going to stop and pause I can't. Getting in the car with Harry has become a habit.

Yes! The third book in the Kate Daniels' series is one of the best! I love Renee Raudman's narration.
Sunny I think I might try to fit the third book in this month if I can. I really love the narration and will now listen to any of Renee Raudman's narrations that she does.

Love the review, Jonetta. I'm so glad you're loving the Sebastian series. This book is where the series went from "I really like" to my favorites shelf and "I totally LOVE it!" :-)
I'm starting book 1 of Mickey Haller The Lincoln Lawyer
as it ties in with the next Harry Bosch book on my list.... This will be as an audiobook.

I finished Code of Silence by Marliss Melton, SEAL Team Twelve #7.5, and it was okay. I wasn't a fan of the heroine in earlier stories and this didn't help. Here's my review.
I'm now reading The Heart of It by Molly O'Keefe. It's a short story that she included in the RAINN anthology and she plans to develop it into a series.

It's not the narrator at all... it sounds low budget and tinny, and I'm not buying the audiobook. So, my library has the ebook and I'll start it in a few days.
I'm now listening to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
... With Jim Dale you can't go wrong.

Did you read Blood Work (Terry McCaleb series) before he appeared in the Harry Bosch series? It seems like so many of these series tie together. I hate reading out of order and want to make sure I don't miss anything.
I did Robin... and it was pretty important... I think it's a definite need to read. Plus, it's a great book! If you don't read it you may never understand Terry and he's a good guy. In addition -
needs to be read before

Will someone remind us when we get to the right place in the Bosch series group read?
edit: perhaps Jonetta answered my question before I asked it! ?
I read the second book in the British Ruth Galloway mystery series:
.I enjoyed reading this story, possibly not as well as the first, but that may just be related to the subject the intrepid archaeologist finds herself involved in this time. Still 4 - 4.5 stars, and I've got Book #3 on order from the library. It's great to find a series that already has eight books published from an author who's new to me :)

I agree with Crystal, reading Blood Work before A Darkness More Than Night is very important. It gives background and context about Terry.
Funnily enough I only learnt about reading The Poet before The Narrows from a friend's review. The series list on Goodreads shows the links between the Terry McCaleb series and Mickey Haller series but doesn't seem to show the link for Jack McEvoy.
I finished Waiting for Wednesday last night. This is book 3 of the Frieda Klein series by Nicci French. A very interesting read with lots of sub plots going on. I am looking forward to reading the next one. I started Magic Burns last night.

I'm EXTREMELY glad I did because, it not only gives insight into the Poet, but you meet an important character for the first time in that book.
