What series are you reading?
I finished book 1.5 and 2 of Linwood Barclay's Promise Falls series. I have some free time this weekend so will try and get through a few books.

I'm currently reading
Criminal by Karin Slaughter. The book is split between 1975 and the present. I'm not sure I like it as much as the other books in the series. Of course, I'm only 120 pages into it.

I moved right into
by Amy Bartol. Already got book 3 on hand for my Buddy read. But I really want to go back to Darkness by Katie Reus

Lauren and Robin Iam starting this series next month. I found the first two books at a flea market and I am really looking forward to getting into this series.

It's a fantastic series, Mary. Hope you enjoy it.
I hope you like it too Tracey. I hope it will be a longer series as the books are getting better as I go along. My ratings went from 3 to 4 to 4.5. I would absolutely recommend the audiobook format. The narration makes the books soooooo perfect. The narration got 5 stars in all 3 books from me. It's amazing.

Crystal and Jonetta I know it will get better Will Trent series always does but this one is my least favorite so far.
I just finished the ninth Tracers book:

Mary Beth, we sure do have a lot of books in common! Hang in there with Will Trent. I really like the Kate Burkholder stories.
Hope you enjoy reading them. Kate is a complex character, and she is very good at what she does.
Charlene I think we have a lot of books in common also. I am hanging in there with Criminal. It tends to get good and then it gets slow again. I cant wait to start Sworn to Silence next month. Thanks for letting me know how much you liked it. :D

I also finished In the Waning Light by Loreth Anne White and very much enjoyed the story. Here's my review.
I'm now listening to Biting Bad by Chloe Neill, Chicagoland Vampires #8, and reading Tempting Mr. Townsend by Anna Campbell, Dashing Widows #2.

Overall, I've enjoyed the series. Book #1 was fun, #2 was alright (Brock didn't do it for me...) and I LOVED #3. Hoping #4 lives up to the hype.

The book world would be dull if all authors worked for everyone. I've only read this series of hers so I can't yet say whether or not she's a favorite author yet. One of my issues with her writing is the length and repetitiveness, but I like the characters and plots.

I've also been filling in some of the blanks with Terry Mccaleb, Jack McEvoy - I'll also be sneaking in Mickey Haller when I get there. They kind of intertwine but I'm loving them all.
