The goodwill , by me anyway , always has tons of these books in hardcover for 1.89 each. I've bought some but ran out of room.

I hate that, I hope you weren't far into it.
I'm reading
. It is probably a waste of my time though cause I've read this series out of order and since I've read the next one already I know what happens sort of, what I can remember anyway. I just don't like that hole in my series list ya know?
I am currently reading
.Just finished
- 4/5.Both are series I am reading , so I am happy about that.

It's a great series. I have promised myself not to leave it so long before book 4... We'll see!

Smart idea to turn off wifi. I may need that idea sometime.

I've got #4 scheduled for May.

I'm reading Only Time Will Tell by Jeffrey Archer which is book 1 of the Harry Clifton Chronicles. It is a very good start for this series.

Wow! I haven't thought that far ahead. I'm just thinking of March plan at the moment. Doubt I'll get to book 4 in March.

This one is on my shelf, Dosha. Looking forward to your feedback.

We all have our quirks. ;-)
I've had the first book in the In Death series sitting in my closet for years, unread, but I must admit that the sheer length of the series is intimidating.

On the other hand, you don't have to wait forever the next installment to come out ;0)

Here's what I tell everyone who's daunted by the number of books in the series....
Each book represents about one month in the series' timeline. Therefore, you get to experience the characters develop and evolve slowly. It's pretty wonderful. The reading journey is fantastic and you'll love it. Believe me, there's no benefit in catching up really fast because then you have to wait for the next book's release.
So, if you're interested in this series, just relax, get started and enjoy the slow ride. You'll be tempted to binge read it from time to time so run with that. But don't let that number scare you off (there are actually 54 books counting the novellas, which most need to be read as they continue the timeline). It's just more for you to read when you're ready.

Speaking of In Death...
I finished Brotherhood in Death by J.D. Robb, In Death #42, and found lots to like about this story. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Heaven Can't Wait by Pamela Clare, I-Team #1.5.

I agree with Jonetta. At first it seemed like this big undertaking but then I just seemed to find ways to fight it in and love it.
I am 80% into the audiobook version of The Defiant Hero and am enjoying it so far.I am reading stand alone stuff to wade through my library books and get them returned on time!
I finished Heaven Can't Wait by Pamela Clare, I-Team #1.5, a fun little novella. Here's my review.
I'm now starting Too Far Gone by Marliss Melton, SEAL Team 12 #6.

I finished Split Second by Alex Kava and am looking forward to the discussion.Have started When Gods Die by C. S Harris and also The Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore (book 3 in the Lorien Legacies) on audio.
I finished Show No Mercy. So annoying that half the action between the MCs and the villain happened in a previous book! This is my first book by Cindy Gerard and probably my last...I didn't feel her writing, plot development or characterization. Now I'm reading A Place to Call Home (a contemporary romance that reads like literary fiction) and listening to Steelheart. I'm really enjoying both.

Yeh, I kind of stopped reading after this book because I really didn't like the characters or the story. It was boring :0(

The following books are so much better- both inthe storylines and character development. My personal favorites are #3 and #7.

I love that series, maybe you could try that series first.
I'm not up to date on a series I hadn't realized was a series until I found the second book. I finished Into the Shadows and remembered to put in on the right shelf there. Now I'm going to see if it made it here, etc. I'm still learning the ropes at Goodreads.

That's a very point, Jonetta. That does make the sheer length of this series seem less daunting.
I finished When Gods Die (Book 2 Sebastian St. Cyr) and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the discussion.I am now reading In Bed with the Devil (Book 1 Scoundrels of St. James) by Lorraine Heath and I cannot put it down.
I just started
, book 4 in the X-Ops series. These books are not going to win awards, but darn, they are fun.

Then jump in anytime you're ready. I'd plan to read the first three pretty close together. I learned recently that Robb initially only planned the series to be a trilogy so those books are quite closely connected in terms of story arc. No cliffhangers but you'll have this burning desire to find out what happens next.

I think I'll start The Song of David
