A lunch today I started reading
by Catherine Clark. Really couldn't get into it, so I've set it aside. Now I'm starting
by Alex Kava.

I am now caught up with Toni Anderson's Cold Justice series. Really great books, writing is consistent from book to book, and the main characters are written well and relatable and likable. Looking forward to the 6th one.

And after reading Grant County and Will Trent by Karin Slaughter (which are great stories), I'm looking forward to likable characters, lol.
Lol Monica. Hope you like it once you get to the series. I still gotta read more Karin Slaughter, her books are just heavy content wise, for me to binge read it. Only in small doses for now.
I am finishing up book 3 of The Lost Series by Cynthia Eden.
. Each book is great. Can't recommend the series enough.
I just started a book one in a new series,
and I am thoroughly hooked. My body is so tense from the suspense.

Loved it. Now I'm getting back my RS mojo with the classic,
After the long holiday hiatus, and a beta read, I managed today to read one of our group reads,
.I really, really liked this book; it's one of the best RS books, imho!
I listened to Three Truths and a Lie - a novella by Lisa Gardner in the D.D. Warren series and really enjoyed it! It is quick and has you hanging on till the end. And as a teaser there are a few real life authors making appearances as Warren is doing a course on police work for mystery writers.

I haven't even started this series.
I haven't even started this series.

Career of Evil - review
Don't Let Go - review
I'm now reading What Angels Fear by C.S. Harris, Sebastian St. Cyr #1, and am listening to Atonement by B.J. Daniels, Beartooth Montana #4.

I think The Gamble is the weakest one in the original trilogy, Sweet Dreams and Lady Luck are the best.

Then I guess I'm going to love those:)

INDEED!
I started reading The Trouble With Valentine's Day by Rachel Gibson. It's is the third book in the Chinooks Hockey Team, after this one I only need to read the first and the fifth.... Guess I'm reading a little out of order.
I am re-reading and catching up on The world of the Lupi by Eileen Wilks, and the Vorkosigan saga by Lois McMaster Bujold.
Lieke wrote: "I started reading The Trouble With Valentine's Day by Rachel Gibson. It's is the third book in the Chinooks Hockey Team, after this one I only need to read the first and the fifth....."this is a fun series, I think i might re-read it! :-)
Now that I have finished A Game of Thrones I am now reading a standalone, Cinnamon and Gunpowder by Eli Brown and listening to The Unsung Hero by Suzanne Brockmann.

I love that Brockmann book. Tom is my guy! (even with his receding hairline)
I took a break from hard-hitting books to read the second in a Cozy mystery series,
. I really liked the first in the series, too,
.
I finished Undone (Book 3 Will Trent) by Karin Slaughter and really enjoyed it. I finished reading Anything for You (Book 5 Blue Heron) by Kristan Higgins and loved it. I've been dying for Connor's book and it did not disappoint. And Jonetta, you're right, it does set up as the last book. But I really hope it's not! Ned and Abby need books.
I also finished A Perfect Evil (Book 1 Maggie O'Dell) by Alex Kava and enjoyed it. Looking forward to the discussion.
I am now listening to Broken (Book 4 Will Trent) by Karin Slaughter.I am reading The Score (Book 3 Off-Campus) by Elle Kennedy. This one is getting pretty rave reviews. I am really looking forward to it.

I'm reading
. I miss this series. It is so lush and the drama is so compelling. The topic is right up my former professional alley and the relationships are so enticing. Whew! Getting a little sweaty thinking about it.
I began
. I don't know whether I finished it first time through, but so far this reread is gaining my attention!
I finished Notorious Pleasures (book 2 in the Maiden Lane series) by Elizabeth Hoyt and thoroughly enjoyed it. I agree with others with regards to the audio version, very good.I also finished What Angels Fear (book 1 in the Sebastian St. Cyr series) by C S Harris. It took me a little bit to get in to it but once I did I enjoyed it. Looking forward to discussing it.
Now determined to finish A Game of Thrones! I'm enjoying it but it requires a lot of concentration.
On audio I have started listening to The Vows of Silence (book 4 in the Simon Serrailer series) by Susan Hill.

Wahoo, Tracy. You are on a roll!
I finished Lonely Hearts by Heidi Cullinan which means I finished my first series for the year. Well, actually, I'm not sure if I completed a series or I'm just up-to-date since I'm not sure if this series is done or not. Hmm...must do some investigating. :)

Wow, Tracey, you are moving right along!
I finished listening to Broken (Book 4 Will Trent) by Karin Slaughter. And ho boy, Lena just doesn't give us a break. And I've realized that I have never disliked/loved a character so much, lol. I go from understanding her to washing my hands of her so fast and often, I think I have reader whiplash.
