Mellie is a prickly heroine alright. She definitely grows as a person over the course of the series though. There are some angsty moments though so be prepared :0)

I finished - excellent narration as always. The story wasn't as fast moving or gripping as the first 4 books but it is an interesting mystery nonetheless. The overall explanation is obvious from quite early on but the culprit caught me by surprise.

Yay, Jonetta on your win! I have an hold at the elibrary but have been enjoying listening to Roberts' novels on audio.

I finished listening to Me Before You by Jojo Moyes, first book in the series of the same name, and LOVED it. Here's my review.

I'm 75% of the way through my first Catherine Coulter Nicholas Drummond book, , and I'm really liking it.

I see there was a previous FBI series that I might go back for, but I may just follow through with this series first.

Catherine Coulter's FBI series features two main recurring characters, Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock, husband and wife FBI agents (they don't appear in the first book). Here's the series list.

I finished Stars of Fortune by Nora Roberts, The Guardians #1, and loved it! I wasn't looking forward to reading this as the description sounded like a few of her other trilogies. There are distinct differences here as this story falls deeply into the fantasy genre! Here's my review.

I couldn't get passed my dislike of Drew either. I did finish the book, but I won't be continuing the series.

I finished The Suffragette Scandal (book 4 The Brothers Sinister) by Courtney Milan. I really enjoyed this one. Now I need to go back and read the novellas in the series to get more of these characters. I hope she adds more full length novels to this one.

Now I am listening to The Proposal (book 1 The Survivors' Club) by Mary Balogh. The narrator is decent, but I'm looking forward to the later books when Rosalyn Landor takes over the narration.
