I loved it Robin! I did figure out a few things before they were revealed but it still kept me reading.

Spindle Cove is such a great series. It looks like Dare is done with it though and she's now writing the Castles Ever After series. I really enjoyed the first book -

I finished Something to Prove by Shannyn Schroeder, The O'Leary's #3, and loved it. Here's my review.
And I finished this on the way home for Thanksgiving:) I'm now up to date on this series (Brown and de Luca #4). Hope there's more to come.

Congrats!
Congrats!

Loved it! It made me mad, sad and happy all at the same time. What a change he made! You were right though, my heart broke towards the end. You know why...
Currently, I'm reading book 2 of the Gretchen Lowell series
I'm a fan of dark, emotional reads but I'll have to say book 1,
, may have been the most mindblowing ever. Even I had to take a break before venturing into book 2. Next, I'm knocking off the last book in the Arcadia Bell series -
. That series will then be on my Completed Series list! Makes me happy but also sad as I love the series & wish there were more books.

I have the series (Chelsea Cain's) and am just leery of starting. Really looking forward to your continued feedback.

It's "fascinating"...like watching a train wreck about to happen but nothing you can do to stop it. And the big switch is the psycho is the woman, not man. Loved book 1 but in a weird sort of way.
And I meant to say that it's known up front that it's a woman - that's not a spoiler. She's in prison. But other than reading the synopsis...I can't say more without spoilers. It's just like I said - you're standing by the tracks watching a train coming and you know it's going to hit the car sitting on the tracks but you're helpless to stop it. Very different & great writing. I'll let you know where I'm at with it after I finish book 2.
I just want to know, after finishing the series, whether you were glad you read it. That would be sufficient for me.

Make sure to read Father Mine. Z's story continues in this one. Keep the tissues near by for this.
I just finished Father Mine and loved it, of course! I didn't expect him to have that issue as the ending of Lover Enshrined led me to believe all was good on that front.

You should try the Claire Morgan series by Linda Ladd. It's really dark imo.
I agree Sandra, his continued problems surprised me...but Father Mine is a must read, and yes tissues are required. Poor Jonetta...she gets all the blame.

I can't either, Jonetta! It's all good. I love getting your recommendations because I know I'll love them if you do. :)
I am in the minority but I did not care for Archie and Gretchen novels. I read first two and just could not care for Gretchen and Archie as characters but enjoyed her writing. I am thinking of trying her new series Kick Lannigan.

I know! This one is a long one too (400 pages on my ereader lol)

I am reading Murder on Marble Row
which is the 6th book in the Gaslight mysteries series (historical mystery) and I am listening to The Pure in the Heart
which is the 2nd book in the Simon Serrailler series - contemporary British mystery.
For my reading tastes, Jessica Scott and JoAnn Ross are among the very best in contemporary romance. I've just bought and downloaded their Holiday Duet...each contributed a new novella about coming home for Christmas.
Home for ChristmasWhich includes both of the novellas below.
Ms Ross's is in her Shelter Bay series,
You Again: A Shelter Bay novella
and Ms Scott's in her military Coming Home series. All I Want for Christmas is You
I bought that book, too, because I'm already up to date on Scott's series and added Ross' series to my shelf months ago because of your reviews:)
80% done reading
and I have to say, I haven't read such a dynamic exciting character is a long time. Eve Dallas was probably the last one that hooked me this fast.
Hmmmm, which reminds me, I might have to continue on with that series. XD
But it not only the character, if you like pulse pounding action, female heroes thrown into thrilling mysteries and a plot that doesn't let you go, consider the Charlie Fox Series by Zoe Sharp.
