Dawn I am listening to the Immortal Guardian series by Dianne Duvall. Someone mentioned the push on organic foods in regards to these books. I finally get it. I think I just listened to five minutes on what my food eats and how disgusting that is. Considering it was during a conversation about the Immortals drinking a glass of blood I found that interesting.

I just won book 6 in a GR giveaway, so I need to catch up. :) I think Shadowdance is next up for me.

Liz (Bugetta) (bugetta) | 399 comments Right now I'm listening to Magic Slays, book 5 in the Kate Daniel's series, and I love where things are going with this series. I slowed down my listening because I'm getting close to being caught up and I don't want to have to wait until August for the next book!

Liz (Bugetta) (bugetta) | 399 comments Speaking of Kristen Callihan, has anyone read her new adult book, The Hook Up? I loved The Ivy Years Series by Sarina Bowen (you all must read it. you all must read it. :)) and Callihan's book was recommended for fans of her books.

Good to know. I'm looking forward to it - I loved the chemistry between Jack and Mary in Winterblaze. I wonder if the audio version is any good...

I have read The Hookup and loved it. It's pretty darn steamy, and really good.

I also loved Shadowdance. Jack Talent is everything I love in a hero. And Mary Chase is such a great heroine.

Monica | 860 comments I just finished Soulbound by Kristen Callihan and loved it. This is book 6 in the Darkest London series, and such a great addition to the overall series. Callihan deftly wove in many of the previous characters and they each grabbed you in this book as they did in their own. Highly recommend this series. It has yet to let me down.

Dosha (Bluestocking7) Beard (bluestocking7) I am reading book 1 of the Huxtable Familyv seris by Mary Balogh First Comes Marriage First Comes Marriage (Huxtable Quintet #1) by Mary Balogh This book is so good it is sickening. I cannot put it down. All I think about is this book, so I just got book 3. I already have book 2, and I'm sure I'll go through this series nonstop.

Well, I got started with her in the Slightly series. She is humorous and if you like regency romance, you will love her.

message 915: by Monica (new)

Monica | 860 comments I'm adding the first book now, you've got my attention, too.

Dosha (Bluestocking7) Beard (bluestocking7) I really hope you all love it as much as I do.

message 917: by D.G. (new)

D.G. I used to be a fan of Balogh but I'm not into her new stuff (I've read 25 books by her.) Some of her books are exquisite.

Monica | 860 comments I know, me too, Jonetta. I don't think I have any historical fiction on my list for March. I might need to remedy that!

Dosha (Bluestocking7) Beard (bluestocking7) I am excited to know you will be reading her. I look forward to your thoughts on her books.

message 921: by Robin (new)

Robin (robinmy) | 3513 comments I've read a handful of Mary Balogh's books. Really liked the Slightly series. I have the Huxtable series in my TBR pile. I'll have to dig it out after soon.

Dosha (Bluestocking7) Beard (bluestocking7) What series did you read? I have not read the Simply series yet. I heard it was not up to her usual standard.

I liked the Huxtable series and, if I recall, the last one (about the son/brother) was really good.

Dosha (Bluestocking7) Beard (bluestocking7) I finished book 1 this morning. On to book 2! I can tell I'll be sad when this series is over.

message 925: by Dawn (new)

Dawn Her Survivor's Club series and Mistress Trilogy are really good as well. In fact I love The Survivor's Club books more than The Huxtable series.

message 926: by Monica (new)

Monica | 860 comments I'm reading No Chance by Christy Reece, it's the fourth book in her Last Chance Rescue series.

I agree, D.G. I loved the Slightly series and the Huxtable series the most. I read a couple of her more recent books but didn't get the same feeling from them.

Christina T (crysteena73) | 558 comments The other day I finished Soulbound (Darkest London, #6) by Kristen Callihan which puts me up to date with that series (yea!) I liked it so much but just didn't love it. I was left with some questions which just weighed on me. I loved Adam and how he was humbled by the relationship with Eliza. I loved Eliza and her backbone. Oh why couldn't I have just loved the entire book LOL!! Oh and for the record, Jack and Mary's story Shadowdance (Darkest London, #4) by Kristen Callihan is my favorite too.

Monica | 860 comments I finished No Chance by Christy Reece and really enjoyed it. It was a bit redundant at times, but I enjoyed the romance and the "rescue." I really like this series (Last Chance Rescue), I don't know why I took such a long break from it. I'm looking forward to the next few characters' books that were set up in this one.

Erin (erin36) | 484 comments I just finished Mercy by Julie Garwood and I absolutely loved it! It was the second book in her Buchanan-Renard series.

Now I'm starting The Ugly Duchess by Eloisa James. I believe this is the fourth book in her Fairy Tales series.

Dosha (Bluestocking7) Beard (bluestocking7) I miss Julie Garwood. She had me for all of the Buchanan-Renard series. Looking forward to more by her.

Lieke | 1743 comments I finished Written in Red this weekend, liked the book a lot.
Hope I can find the next one in a bookstore around here.
Just started The Invisible Library, saw when I entered it on goodreads that it's the first book of a series. But it doesn't say when the next one will be out.

Robin (robinmy) | 3513 comments Finished Dead Ever After (Sookie Stackhouse, #13) by Charlaine Harris Dead Ever After by Charlaine Harris. I liked some part of the book, but hated how the author totally changed the personality of some of the characters.

I finished listening to Hero by Samantha Young and really liked the story. The narrator sounded a bit immature and was just okay.

I'm now listening to Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs and am already loving it 1 hour in.
