Haha, yeah, just wait until I finish Red Rising. Then you can pressure away. This book is already giving me all the pressure I can handle, lol. It started off intense and hasn't really eased up yet.

From what I've read you're in for a great read.

It's true, Jonetta. One of the best reads I've had in years. So good, I'm jealous actually that you get to read it, Lieke ;)
I just finished
(4-stars). Really good start of a series. :) This series didn't have too many new things but I liked the heroine (I love her Chinese ancestry) and pretty much the whole cast of characters. There was a PNR feel to the book but that was because the mating was such an important part of the book. Totally recommend it!

I finished Red Rising by Pierce Brown and Truly Madly Yours by Rachel Gibson and both were great reads from their respective genres. I'm having a good start to my reading year so far. Truly Madly Yours was not as light as I was expecting (I was hoping to counteract the intensity of Red Rising), but I loved it all the same. Red Rising was a non-stop ride and I loved every cringing, wide-eyed, gasping moment of it.

Yay! I thought you'd enjoy Red Rising.

I am starting Kisscut by Karin Slaughter, it is book 2 in the Grant County series. I have been putting this one off because of its content, but I'm glad it was nominated for another group's BOM so I can move forward with this series.
Jonetta wrote: "You're moving right along with Kate Burkholder. I'm determined to get to it by April. "I love this series. I'm hoping to read the next book in March. After that, I may have to shell out money to get the latest one. Haven't seen it at a good price yet.

My favorite by LaVyrle Spencer was Morning Glory. Wonderful book. Couldn't put it down.
Today I started
Dead Ever After by Charlaine Harris. It's the last book in her Sookie Stackhouse series. I read the previous book just a couple of months ago. I can't believe how much I've forgotten already. I'm reading along and they'll mention things that happened in the last book. I just scratch my head. Was I sleeping during the previous book?

You're so lucky. I finally found a library that has a decent amount of ebooks that I want to read, but they still don't carry a couple of my favorite authors.
Monica wrote: "I might need to up Heartbreaker! It's been on my TBR forever."You are going to SO love this book, lol...no pressure I swear lol.

I agree with that...Lorraine Bracco is kind of how I pictured Jane's mom.

Based on your reviews alone I can't wait to read these!
I finished Obsession by Lisa Clark O'Neill, which brings me up to date with the Southern Comfort series.
I'm now starting All for You by Christi Barth.

I love Lorraine Bracco as Angela Rizzoli! Nevertheless, she is nothing like Jane's mother in the book.
I also like Vince's character although his role is more prominent.

Love Vince...and most of the characters, really. After watching the first season I just had to watch it as it is and not associate it with the books.
I finished listening to Kisscut by Karin Slaughter, Grant County #2, and found it extraordinary. Here's my review.
I'm now listening to Archangel's Kiss by Nalini Singh, Guild Hunters #2.

I finished In Your Dreams by Kristan Higgins and liked it. I listened to it and really enjoyed hearing Higgins' hilarious writing portrayed by a narrator. I'm loathe to say because I love Higgins so much but this book was just not on par for me with the rest of the series. I thought certain parts (like the characters pasts) were really lengthy and drawn out and it pulled me out of the romance. And ... I cannot believe I'm saying this but Jack Holland turned out to be an anti-hottie for me! He made me sooooo stinking mad that I never got over it and I was frustrated when then heroine forgave him.

I can't remember...what did Jack do to get in the harem house?

I finished The Duke Is Mine by Eloisa James and quite liked it. I love a man who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go after it!Now I'm starting Mercy by Julie Garwood.
I just started Soulbound by Kristen Callihan and I am looking forward to getting back into this series. This book is the most recent release in this series.

ANOTHER series I've been trying to get to!!!
Okay, I thought it was one of those rare times you didn't join in. I think you'll really love it when you get to it.
Jonetta wrote: "No and I never caught up. I have all of the books, too."You have to move it up your TBR. It's one of those series where the books just keep getting better and better. I love Kristen Callihan's writing.
I really enjoyed this one too, Monica.
I need to get back to Callihan's series! I'm still back at Winterblaze. I loved the first two in the series!
Just finished The Getaway by Tom Barber. #2 in the Sam Archer Series. Have also nearly completed
by James Douglas. #2 in Jamie Saintclaire Series.
Joining in the encouragements for reading Kristen Callihan's series. I'm up to #5 and I loved them all!
