I am getting back into Kate Daniels. Downloaded the audio version of Magic Rises today for our group read. I have the ebook too so will probably switch back and forth.
I am over halfway through smooth talking stranger. What a great book. #3 in Travis series. By Lisa Kleypas.

Oh, how I remember loving that book.
Oh, how I remember loving that book.
I finished Barefoot in White by Roxanne St. Claire, Barefoot Bay brides #1, and LOVED it! No fluff here. I'm going to review the trilogy when I finish all three. I'm on to the next book in the series, Barefoot in Lace.
At least you'll be going into the new book with fresh memories of the series. I'm going to have to skim the last book:)
I just tried to buy it and it is not out yet. By the time it comes out, I will need to brush up too. :-(

Armentrout has yet to disappoint me, she's an automatic read for me."
The Armentrouts confuse me. I have Jennifer Armintrout's book
plus some of her other ones but then the Jennifer Armentrout came out with the Lux books
and I really thought they were the same person. I like that Armintrout goes by Jenny Trout a lot. Her blog is hilarious too by the way. She read
and when she posted on her blog she didn't care for it she went back and read it chapter by chapter making comments on her blog about it. I never have to read it now LOL.

Interesting! Had no idea there were two of them!

I read her blog while she was doing that, it was pretty funny.
That one letter in their last names can get ya, lol. I was always confused with which one I was trying to look up. I think I've got it down now, haha.
I finished Written in Red by Anne Bishop and loved it. The world building was well done and kept me interested the whole time, even if it was a bit loaded. It's nice to read a paranormal book and have it be original (to me anyway).I am now reading Barefoot in White by Roxanne St. Claire and enjoying this one, too. Thanks, Jonetta, for the rec!

Yay! I hope I haven't overdone it but I loved the book.

I finished Carved in Bone by Jefferson Bass (Body Farm book 1). It was a slow read with too much information sometimes, but I did enjoy it and will continue the series.I'm now starting Live Bait by P.J. Tracy (Monkeewrench book 2).
Reading
by Lori Foster. As I read the first three in the Men who walk the Edge of Honour series, I discovered I had read them before, so it is nice to realise that I haven't read this one (Book #4).

Enjoy Live Bait!
Enjoy Live Bait!
I've been reading more historical mysteries lately and discovered a new (to me) series - Sebastian St. Cyr. I've already read the first two and I'm totally hooked.

C.S. Harris is a good writer. She used to right as Candice Proctor and some of those books are in my keeper pile like Night in Eden

Thanks, Jonetta. That's one step shorter than how I've done it before!
Yesterday I finished Sherryl Woods'
, so I'm now caught up with The Chesapeake Shores series. As with all the previous books, I've rated this one 4 stars, but did not write a review. These are enjoyable quick reads, and if you like one, you'll probably like them all!
I just finished Magic Strikes
. Wow! It was so good. I see what everyone means about it getting really good at book 3! Did you all know that there is a collection of scenes from Curran's POV? There were a couple in the special edition of Magic Bites that I have but I didn't realize there were more and you can get the whole collection on Illona Andrews website. So next up, I'll be reading Curran POV Collection up through the Magic Strikes scenes!
I finshed A Devil and Her Love Song, Vol.4
yesterday. I will soon be reading A Devil and Her Love Song, Vol. 7
, as it is the next in the series I need to read. (I read
{V5} and
{V6} in 2013.)I am also reading Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Vol. 5
. (I will be reading
{V6} and
{V7} from this series soon as well.)

I finished Map of Bones by James Rollins this morning. I really liked it and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Black Order. It took me awhile to read only because the print is small and it's over 500 pages. Took a break every now and then to read something else.I'm now starting Fairest by Marissa Meyer. The library got it in and is letting me read it before they put it on the shelf.
I just finished Barefoot in White by Roxanne St. Claire and loved it. Thanks, Jonetta. And like you, I am now on to book 2, Barefoot in Lace and loving this one even more already! I am not a binge reader, so that says something! I also started listening to Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrews on Friday. I am so happy to be back in this world.
This week I finished
Fatal Deception by Marie Force. Another excellent addition to the Fatal series.

I read all the way to the hot tub scene (fans self)! I love being inside Curran's head and seeing how he sees Kate.
I'm actually reading one of my 2-3-4 Challenge series books:
Rack & Ruin by Charlie Cochet, instead of starting new series, like I've been doing most of the new year.

I finished Blind Faith, Sin Brothers #3, and enjoyed the switch to audio format. Looking forward to the final book in the series.
I'm now listening to Edge by Tiffinie Helmer, an Audible review request. Thought I try this new to me author.

I finished Barefoot in Pearls, the last book in The Barefoot Bay Brides Trilogy by Roxanne St. Claire. I liked it but not as much as much as the first two. Loved this series and was surprised to find an excerpt at the end for a new one, Barefoot Undercover. It begins with a crossover character from the Guardians Angelino series and it will have a suspense element.
Another series complete!

It's romantic suspense. No, in the first book, the guy was hired to protect the woman but he didn't dislike her...they just rubbed each other the wrong way at times.
