The conflict in this story happens when the two main characters fall in love. This becomes the conflict because the two lovers can not touch each other, they must stay five feet apart at all times. Will's out look on his sickness was he was going to die anyways so why stay in the hospital because there is no point. Stella's out look on her sickness is that if she does all her treatments she will be better some how. When Will and Stella meet they fall in love and all they want is each others touch. Will they get their touch ?
