Joy D | 10075 comments One of your suggestions was on the list l submitted, Michael. I use the war tag for any wars other than ww1 or ww2

Theresa | 15517 comments Michael - I have Immigrant Experience on my list of 5 and put in 'country life' rather than the more narrow 'farmimg'. Agriculture never occured to me!

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 11063 comments I would like to read some good fiction about environmental issues, climate change, nature, etc. but I'm not sure which terms would yield the best results. The Overstory used the tag "environmental," and I think "ecology" might be on the poll challenge. I don't think it will make my top 5, but I'm interested in hearing related ideas.

I'm wondering if "smut" will make the new list. LOL. Or erotica perhaps.

Oh good! I LOVED the Ireland books I read this year.

Good food for though..."

I was thinking of adding work or workplace, so it goes to show that we all have different interests.

Nancy, have you read anything by Barbara Kingsolver? Some of hers focus on the environment. Prodigal Summer and Flight Behavior are two by her I have tagged as "environment". Looks like I liked "Prodigal Summer" better at 4.5 vs 3.5 stars.

ETA: Forgot which thread I was in! You weren't looking for title suggestions - you were looking for tag suggestions! I use "environment". :-)

Thanks. So many variations! Environment, environmental, etc.
Yes, I liked both of those books, same order as you I think.

Amy | 12914 comments I was thinking about the number of books with stars in the title. Is stars on the list?

Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) | 8412 comments Annapi ... I sent in my five suggestions ... hope you got them.

I'm not saying any more about them here. The original post asks us to keep it private so as not to influence others, so that's what I'm doing.

There was no indication about the general rule that a tag is "out of circulation" for 3 years after being used .... but I assumed that will still be in play, and made sure to not recommend anything that has been used (or is close to a tag we used) in 2017, 2018 or 2019.

Can hardly wait to see the results!

Anna is travelling, but I'm sure she will make sure your suggestions are included when she gets back at the end of the month.

We don't need to use the new list until the 10th so we've left plenty of time for compilation and deduping.
