I'm cool with an in between break but the second one is definitely on my list. I'm hovering between 4-5 stars atm. It was fantastic at being what it was.

I'm just a couple pages into chapter 14, and loving it (again). I have only the vaguest recollection about the answer to Charlene's spoiler question from chapter 12 - it's just been way too long since I read it. I'm hoping to make a lot more progress this weekend!

I'm hoping to finish up tonight, and I DO actually have the sequel..... But there are a few I have to review before I can start that one.

I liked it. I agree (view spoiler)[ about the characters who died. It wasn't just the minor or "deserving death" characters who died. <\spoiler> (hide spoiler)]

I remember Creature Features, not Creature Double Features. And that's what this one was. Campy, fun. Loved it.

I had Chiller Theater on channel 11, WPIX, on Saturday afternoons. Right after Soul Train.

LMAO Back then we were lucky to get 5 channels, but usually only had 3.

I'm at the start of chapter 26, and at this point I really have no recollection of how it's going to end - I've just forgotten too much in the time since I first read it. I'm really anxious to finish and see how it all turns out! I have the sequels, but haven't read any of them. I definitely plan to while this one is still fresher in my mind.

I love the idea of an ancient, lost species, and I think the explanation provided seems reasonably plausible. I also love the idea of the Clickers, which originally are so fearsome, actually being the terrified prey.

Finished this morning - loved it! Really makes me nostalgic for the good old days of creature features on TV. (view spoiler)[I had definitely forgotten that it was such a greek tragedy - I was really bummed when at least Bobby didn't make it, with everything he'd been through. Of course, he'd probably have sent multiple kids to college for whatever therapist he'd have needed to try to recover from all the trauma if he had. :-) And it was only fitting that it set up for a sequel. (hide spoiler)] Assuming I can get caught up on the DarkFuse reading, I'm definitely on-board with sequel buddy reads!
