If you want someone who can think clearly, with more than a shallow though, you go to readers.
I read the rules and I'm hoping that I'm in the right place to make this request. Emma Watts in Sept 2014 made a speech at the UN -- most likely you know about this. If not, you can find it easy enough on YouTube. It was an intense speech, and had some good ideas presented. During the speech she described a new group of the U.N. Women, she called HeForShe. We support the efforts of the U.N. Women and try to help out where we are welcome in other places. Right now, for example, I'm helping a Fund raiser for the UN Women in Sydney Aus. I'm finding people to talk to, based on what I can find out about them on the Internet.
Now, to the question: We have a blog meforshe.wordpress.com
If you have seen the speech, maybe you were affected like i was, and maybe you weren't. That doesn't matter. If all we ever heard and spoke to were people who always agreed with us, we would not grow. We couldn't learn. Life, would be crap. There is no judging in this and I won' allow any attacks on your post. I'll delete them and block the writer as soon as I'm aware of it.
If you would like to write about how Emma's speech affected you, what you think or feel about feminism, equality, about her call out for men to help her, how you think it affects your life -- or how you feel it doesn't affect you at all, I would really like you to offer your voice. Some of our guys and women are young, but most of us are not. I'm nearly 50. I don't see the world as you do any longer -- you, being anyone under 30. In order to help, we need other voices. Other thoughts.
Well... that's it. Just a request with few rules attached. I'll continue to check back here to see if there are any questions. Thank you very much for reading this far.
