Dannii (curiousdannii) | 8 comments So my copy of this book has a different colour cover, and I was about to make an alternative cover edition of this ISBN, when I thought to check the history: https://www.goodreads.com/book/edits/...

This cover was added a year before the book was published, presumably when the ISBN was announced. The cover was probably just copied from another edition.

The publisher's official web page has the white cover: https://www.gollancz.co.uk/titles/ben...

So should I just make an alternative cover edition like normal, or would it be appropriate to consider this a mistake and just edit the existing edition?

At this point in time it's impossible to know if the cover was changed pre-publication, or in the 4 years since. So an ACE would be the way to go.

Also, please note that links should only be added to the URL field if they include additional content not found on Goodreads (e.g. a book preview, interview with the author, etc.) -- as well as being official author/publisher links specific to the book.
