Once upon a time, there was a snowman. Actually, he was a snow Marine, and his name was Sergeant Frosty. Over the years, he had many adventures, and these are the stories of his adventures, from his early days as little more than a snowball, to when he was old and white.

Sergeant Frosty first came into existence in 1972, during a military exercise in north Norway. A group of Royal Marines were on a hill, with nothing to do, and surrounded by snow and packing crates. Packing crates quickly became sleds, and snow rapidly became snowmen. Thus were born snowboarding snowmen. One of these survived two trips down the hill, and this snowman was christened Sergeant Frosty.
His adventures have grown in the telling. This is his story.
