The book is a series about the adventures of three kids that travel to another world by getting into a closet in one of the kid's basements. They turn off the light and stairs appear under their feet. The stair is located in the middle of the air in the other world and they always get transported to a different place every time. It's a children's book that I read less than 10 years ago and I occasionally remember it but don't remember book title. It's not the 'Magic Tree House' series by the way.

That's the series! Thanks! I really liked the series and wanted to read all the books in it (even though I know I'm too old for this now). I'm still glad to have found it again. Thanks!
