#16 Read a doorstopper (over 500 pages) published after 1950, written by a woman
#15 [If you take the stance that all natural disaster books are also books about climate change - but climate change isn't discussed in the book]
I read Fink's book right before the challenge, so I am not using it myself.

Lost Feast: Culinary Extinction and the Future of Food by Lenore Newman
#13 Read a food book about a cuisine you've never tried before
#15 Read a book about climate change
This book is about the many types of plants/animals/food that have gone extinct and how extinction from overconsumption could change out diets in the future. The author discusses things like silphium, which was very commonly used as a prehistoric seasoning. The author isn't saying that climate change is solely responsible for the extinction of such plants and animals, but at several points she discusses how climate change has affected available food.
